Camping Guesthouse Rupa is a meadow campsite beside a family-run guesthouse, surrounded by mountains and suitable for resting after hiking. Guests can use the house’s toilet and shower, but the only facility is accessed through the kitchen and is shared with staff. Camping costs 6 euro per person per night, while traditional breakfast and dinner are available, including vegetarian food on request. The nights are generally quiet, although the site has limited shade and some uneven ground.

Good if you are self-sufficient; you stand beautifully among the mountains. You have to walk through the kitchen, which has a bed, to use the only toilet, which is also the shower. You use the same facilities as the staff and can hear conversations in the kitchen while sitting on the toilet behind a frosted-glass door. Friendly owners. The guesthouse looks nice.
A farmhouse serves as a small hostel here and has plenty of space for campers. Breakfast and dinner are traditionally cooked by the owners, and all guests can eat together. Showers and toilets can be used in the house. A great place and an excellent starting point for hiking.
The camping area is okay; you can choose any spot in the garden, but the facilities are poor. You have to go through their kitchen to use the toilet; they wash dishes outside, where you are also expected to brush your teeth. Beautiful location, with mountains on both sides. The owners are pleasant, but I found it dirty. €15 for two adults and a child; we slept in the car.
Quiet guesthouse where you can pitch your tent for only €6 per person per night. The staff are extremely friendly, a very pleasant place!
We slept one night here in our tent (€10 for two people). Not much shade and not very level. The night was quiet. We also had dinner; it was good, with a vegetarian option on request (€24 for two). We also had breakfast (€12 for two), which was good but not very varied: bread, butter, jam, and some vegetables and fruit. The welcome is very warm and relaxing.
Amazing family running this place! Amazing view over the mountains! Very nice place, perfect for resting after hiking and enjoying Theth, very quiet at night. I stayed with tent for 5€/night. Possibility to have dinner for 10€
A very rustic place. Good for dog owners, as the area is fenced. For dinner we sat in the living room by a burning stove and were served a varied, very tasty meal. The old lady herself only understands Albanian; a Swiss woman who has been helping there every summer for many years speaks German and excellent English. Very centrally located yet cozy.
Great place with an incredibly warm-hearted operator. Shared meals with delicious home cooking.
Beautiful, quiet parking area with wonderful views of the mountains. During a longer hike, we left our van here for two nights (€5 per night).
Wonderful owners, with a toilet and shower available, and breakfast offered (we did not have it, but it looked fantastic). Sleeping in a beautiful location; the night was completely peaceful and quiet. Recommended for less demanding travelers.
Simple place that is quiet in the evening and has a great view. We stayed here for two nights and, after ordering in advance, were served dinner.
It is not a campsite! It is the garden of a guesthouse, in front of a dusty and noisy road. There is no electricity and not even a bathroom—or rather, they allow you to use their only bathroom! I would also like to emphasize the welcome we received; it almost seemed as if we were bothering them. I would not recommend it to anyone. In addition, just a few meters away there is another “campsite” with electricity and bathrooms.
Great place in Theth! The owner is incredibly friendly and speaks excellent German. If you are lucky, you can also get dinner—delicious! We stayed three nights here, an ideal starting point for hikes.
€12 for a motorhome and two people, nothing special. Not very quiet. Barking dogs, cars, motocross bikes. Camping Balcony is recommended!
We didn’t stay the night so I didn’t want to give too low of a rating. The owner was really lovely. The camping was simple with no electricity. The problem for us was the bathroom. The toilet and shower were located through two bedrooms, we walked past someone sleeping. For 12€ with pretty much no shower, toilet or electricity it didn’t seem worth it.
Large property around a beautiful old house. The two older hosts are not very talkative (no or hardly any English) but are nice and hospitable. Unfortunately the toilet could not be used between 11pm and 7pm (this was not communicated in advance). So if you need a toilet, you should stay in the other place next to this one. 3.5/5
Great place to explore Theth. The owner was not there when we arrived. When I saw her later and told her we had parked our camper here, there was no response at all. They are not talkative and do not speak a word of English. But there is a hot shower. Restaurant tip in the village: Villa Gjecaj, which also has many vegetarian options.
The campsite was one of a kind. You may like it or not. The place was very beautiful, with a great view and a good starting point for hikes. The operator is very nice. Her dinner is also delicious; you can join her for €12 per person. We did not have breakfast, but it can be ordered. There is one shower and one toilet, both in the same room without a partition.
A wonderful, peaceful place. After a long hike, we enjoyed the excellent dinner. Breakfast was also very good. We can truly recommend it.
Nice hostess; dinner with local vegetables, several salads, soup and meat (€12) is highly recommended. The place has a fantastic view. Basic sanitary facilities, including a hot shower after hiking.
Very nice parking area. Well located for starting excursions. The only drawback is that there is only one shower combined with a toilet. Since we were there in the off-season, it was not a problem for us, but it could be tight in high season. Otherwise, a lovely hostess.
Lovely little rustic place in the heart of the mountains. The owner is very pleasant. She offers breakfast (€6) and dinner (€12). The shower and toilet are adequate. Hiking starts here for Valbona and the waterfall.
The view is phenomenal. We stayed one night. Very peaceful and a good base for cycling.
