This hiking parking lot is beside the road at Curragh Forest Recreation Area, with no overnight ban and a house opposite. It is calm at night, but the road is busy in the morning and hikers arrive with dogs. The area has little other interest.

A backup location where we ended up after urgently evacuating another place at around 2 a.m. Quiet at night. Hikers in the morning, but no problem. The road is busy in the morning; otherwise, there is no real interest.Translating
Safe parking spot for the night, no overnight restrictions. Road is fairly busy as it connects to the nearest town, so recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Many people bringing their dogs for a walk in the mornings & evenings, but not bothersome.
