Free parking beside the Loire, close to the château and its lower entrance, for daytime use only. Overnight parking is prohibited, and the area is flat with picnic space, shade, children’s play areas and nearby shops. A small restaurant is available, and cyclists frequently stop here.

Superb town on the banks of the Loire. Tasting of local products. Coming from the Loire riverbank, the entrance to the castle is not signposted, which is a shame. The gardens open on April 22 for the garden festival. A shame for us.
Magnificent place facing the Loire and just behind the castle, with lots of walks. We did not sleep there, but it was a good stop. The campsite next door was closed, apparently prohibited for motorhomes.
Spacious parking spaces directly on the banks of the Loire. Not as busy as the castle parking areas and close to the lower entrance to the castle.
A pleasant park when the weather is good, where children can play in the shade. A small restaurant, and many cyclists stop here for a break on the way, not far from the castle.
Close to the castle, level, and practical.
