Eparchiaki Odos Komiliou - Akrotiriou Lefkatas, 310 82, Apollonii
Been here?
A large square with striking red clay ground and an extraordinary view toward Porto Katsiki. The approach is narrow, with robust shrubs that can scratch vehicles, and access is limited by bollards to smaller vans. The site is currently flooded, so parking is not possible without getting stuck. It becomes particularly muddy after rain and can be very windy.

Beautiful spot but currently flooded not possible to park without getting stuck
A really large, beautiful place with red clay ground! Access is no problem with a 7-metre-long, 2-metre-wide Mercedes Sprinter 4x4. As described, the approach through the bushes is very narrow and you have to expect scratches on the vehicle. But the view is worth it! Photo attached.
Not possible to get there. Road was washed by water.
Very quiet place with a great view. We were alone here. Access was no problem with a Ford Transit L3H3. Yes, it is a little windy.
Awesome place, quite windy. Very nice view on Katsiki beach.
The final section of the route is really very narrow. The bushes on both sides have been cut and are therefore quite tough as well (scratches on the van are guaranteed). Because of the rain, the ground is also very muddy! You can already see from the road above that the parking area is currently flooded. (See picture) 28 November 2023. It is surely beautiful there in the summer months.
very nice Spot for a small Van. possible without 4wd but needs some keen driving in the end.
People who leave reviews need to be a little more accurate. There are two bollards further down the narrow track which limit access to a small van. Do not take your motorhome down here, it’s not worth the damage the shrubs will cause. You’ve been warned!
Magnificent view, red earth on the ground. Be careful not to get stuck if it rained the day before or rain is forecast during your stay. Only cars and T6-type vans can access it because there are posts at the entrance, limiting the width to that of a small van.
