Quiet bay, theft reported

Very beautiful place, overlooking a small cove that is very busy on weekends but wonderfully quiet on other days. We spent a peaceful night. In the morning, while we were on the beach 30 meters from our camper, someone tried to break in and steal from it. The alarm went off and a white Citroën sped away. I would recommend the place, but beware of THIEVES.

First of all, the road there goes over mountains, and on weekends the entire harbor is extremely busy. You have to squeeze through between cars parked on both sides. Once at the parking area, there is no shade and no way to swim comfortably. In the evening, a firefighter complained that the area is needed for turning around, even though the locals supposedly approve of parking there.

A 7-meter vehicle can turn around without problems. Google Maps shows a small cove nearby. Follow the blue arrows, although the road is already somewhat adventurous. We had a lovely swim and slept well.

The “road” is an approximately 1-kilometer-long gravel track, a dead end, and easy to drive. Everyone should take a short walk to determine whether turning around is still possible. There were relatively many locals here on Easter Sunday; otherwise it is probably much quieter. Turning around with 6.5 meters was no problem.

Beautiful panoramic view of the sea and the nighttime skyline of the surrounding towns. Unfortunately, most spaces are very uneven. Due to the lack of turning space, the spot is only suitable for vehicles up to about 6 meters.
