1 Rue du Marais, 80510, Fontaine-sur-Somme
Been here?
A quiet waterside spot in a hamlet, facing ponds and close to walking routes. Picnic tables and benches are available, with several spacious paved level places at the far end. Access is better via the paved road, as grass can become muddy and vehicles may get stuck, while ducks and a train about 200m away can be noisy.

Ideal place to spend a night, with lovely walks nearby.Translating
Beautiful spot, some passers-by but very friendly vibe! Felt very welcome. Lots of ducks in enclosures next to the water that are quite loud during day and night
Nice quiet place, would recommend the paved road instead of the grass, my fiat ducato got stuck but managed to get out, even without rain!
Avoid in winter and in rainy weather; we got bogged down. Some people helped us, and a farmer came to our assistance! Thanks again.Translating
Quiet place, easy to access, perfect for spending the night. Next to a football stadium, so it may be best avoided on match nights.Translating
Lovely quiet place. You can walk straight into the Somme floodplains. You have to put up with ducks quacking and the sound of a train about 200 meters away.Translating
Picnic table and benches, facing the ponds. Quiet night, but lots of traffic in the morning. Houses nearby, but not disturbing.Translating
We arrived while the village residents were taking over the place for the August 15 celebration. We had a picnic and quickly got to know the volunteers. We did not stay, but we were warmly welcomed and made to feel comfortable.Translating
At the far end, on the right and left, there are several spacious, paved, flat places. Wonderful sleeping in the silence of the lake and the chirping of some birds; otherwise, there is nothing to hear. A lovely place to return to.Translating
