Been here?
This riverside campsite lies among mountains, with a river beach, swimming, barbecues, a bar and restaurant. Recent reports describe it as largely occupied by permanent campers, with limited space for visitors, especially during busy periods. Prices reported are €18 plus €3 for electricity, and gray- and black-water disposal is unavailable. Sanitary facilities are dated, with limited hot water, though the setting is pleasant and staff are friendly.

Nice campsite. Friendly staff. Bar/cafeteria open in summer. Good, hot water. Lovely swimming in the river. Great area for walking and mountain biking. Many permanent pitches, close together, but there is often space. The only thing missing is proper care and attention!
When we visited, the site was practically completely occupied by long-term campers. We drove on.
“Sanitary facilities in good condition”—that is putting it mildly! Everything is falling apart and no one is around in the low season to repair it. Very little hot water, making it difficult to regulate the shower, and the facilities are completely unheated. €22 with electricity, while we paid the same for two days with electricity at Mogadouro campsite, which is vastly better and has no permanent residents! Avoid unless absolutely necessary!
€18 + €3 for electricity. Nice campsite. We were the only campers apart from one other. No facilities for dumping grey or black water. The campsite is mainly for locals with seasonal pitches. Outside the season (and summer weekends), motorhomes can stay here.
Absolutely fine for one night. Apart from one long-term camper, we were the only ones there and it was quiet. The lady at reception is very nice. The sanitary facilities badly need renovation, but they are clean, and there were hot showers with adjustable temperature. The low-season price is unbeatable: €6.60 for two people in a campervan. Therefore 4 instead of 3 stars.
Very poorly maintained campsite; the sanitary facilities are very dirty. I gave it 2 stars because of the price (€18 for a van, electricity, and two people).
Run-down campsite but located in a beautiful area. Far from everything. Not very suitable for motorhomes. Friendly staff.
Excellent little campsite! The owners speak French and, above all, are incredibly welcoming!
Small family campsite in the heart of authentic Portugal, mainly serving local people and regulars. Immersed in nature, beside a river and a beautiful beach. The sanitary facilities are nothing special.
Inexpensive and good camping spot. The sanitary facilities and waste services need renovation but work. Very beautiful location by the river. Unfortunately, there are many ants throughout the site, including the beach. In the evening, tame foxes come onto the site and are fed by the long-term campers.
Very run-down and outdated, with many caravans that appear to be permanently stationed there. Little space for guests.
Beautiful location. Spacious pitch. Very friendly staff, though with limited English. The sanitary facilities are outdated but clean and adequate. Next to the campsite there is a landscaped beach on a small river where you can swim pleasantly. A lifeguard is present from 22 June. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Beautifully situated campsite with excellent hiking opportunities. Many permanent pitches, but the owners were away during the week and we were practically alone. Very peaceful location, perfect with a dog. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are very old and not really clean.
Well-maintained municipal site by the river. On the last day of the low season I paid €4.80 for the touring bus and myself. One day later it costs almost three times as much. Hot water is also included.
Probably a beautiful place during the season, but outside it more like a “lost place.” Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, but everything was closed. Sanitary facilities rather neglected!
