9 Via Filippo Giorgi, 01016, Lido di Tarquinia
Been here?
Simple official RV parking on a grassy, uneven area about 400 meters from a public beach. The current price is 12 euros per day or 3 euros per hour, with a 7-day subscription costing 40 euros. There are no camper services, and recent comments report poor maintenance, tall grass and no lighting at night. The location also allows visits to the salt flats and Tarquinia’s historic centre.

From one year to the next, the price went from €5 to €12 for no reason, with no services and not even lighting in the parking area. It is outright robbery. Stay away; evidently the municipality does not want us to spend our money at local businesses.Translating
Beautiful, simple, inexpensive place with no facilities. Beach nearby... always a light breeze from the sea... ideal even for large vehicles with car trailers, as there is a very large meadow.Translating
Terrible place to park: a meadow with tall, dry grass and an excessive price for what it offers, considering the increase imposed by the municipality. No water, dirty toilets, completely dark, and no rubbish bins. For €5 it might have been acceptable, but at €12 under these conditions it is robbery. Municipal police often pass by and even make people remove their chairs. Terrible economic policy.Translating
Much too expensive for what it offers. No services and, above all, no maintenance of the area. The only advantage is the proximity of a public beach with gray sand.Translating
Isolated, expensive, and without services. Go somewhere else.Translating
The price has changed to €12 per day, and rubbish bins are available. The weekly pass for 7 days costs €40; just hold down the Rates button for 3 seconds.Translating
Simple parking area with no services, on uneven ground, and dark at night. In addition, the price has risen from €5 to €12. If they do not want us there, we will go elsewhere.Translating
The price increased by 120% overnight without any improvement. €12 for simple parking on uneven ground. No services, and completely dark at night. The municipality probably does not like motorhome travelers.Translating
Terrible experience, absolutely avoid. The price inexplicably rose from €5 to €12, without any improvement or additional service. The ground is completely uneven. As if that were not enough, the grass is tall and neglected, giving an overall impression of abandonment and poor maintenance. There is absolutely no value for money. Not recommended.Translating
Parking on grass without lighting or services: €3 per hour and €12 per day. The toilets on the opposite side of the parking area are reserved for car owners and not for motorhome users.Translating
Paid parking on uneven ground with zero services. Until a few months ago it cost €5; today it is €12, almost tripled, and it is only April. I do not think we will return.Translating
A beautiful green place, partly shaded by pine trees, a short walk to the sea and beach promenade, where we ate wonderfully at Ristorante Pesciolino. There is a waste container on the site. We will return!Translating
We felt very comfortable. Large official meadow for campers with quick access to the beach. Vehicles up to 5 m cost €1/hour or €3/day. Larger vehicles cost €3/hour or €12/day. Beach restaurants in the area have significantly reduced their opening hours.Translating
€12 is the new price and relatively expensive for a piece of uneven meadow without any services or sea view. The town itself is not interesting either, so it is a shame; it was a practical overnight stop.Translating
A rough parking area far from everything and everyone, without any services and completely lacking nighttime lighting, costing €5 per day.Translating
Very beautiful and well-maintained motorhome site for little money. We had a very quiet night. Very large meadows for everyone to enjoy. The local toilets are locked. We would be happy to return.Translating
Excellent stopping point for visiting the salt marsh reserve and Porto Clementino. Tarquinia Lido is just a stone’s throw away, but it is better to go by bike.Translating
Very quiet spot; we had an excellent night. There is no lighting, admittedly, but it is not isolated, so there was no problem for us.Translating
We spent a quiet night, but if you are afraid of the dark, this place is not for you. There is practically no lighting.Translating
We saw the cameras with their red lights. Are the cameras active? We felt unsafe and drove on.Translating
Parking on grass, not very level. In December only motorhomes pay, while cars in the parking area opposite are free. Probably quite safe at night, given the presence of cameras. Whether they are always active remains to be verified.
Nice surroundings, felt safe. The toilet was not open in mid November.
Parking on dirt and grass, very good for one night or more. €5. Quiet; there were three motorhomes. No services.
26 October 2025 Parking on dirt and grass with plenty of space (150 motorhomes). Public toilets currently open, cost €5 per day. Ideal for relaxing and fishing. The seafront is disappointing in winter; it is better to have a scooter or e-bike to get around. FALCIONI restaurant is very good. Rubbish bins are available near the nature reserve toward the sea.
Really beautiful place, close to the beach. Quiet and safe.
Had a lovely night here on the way home from the south. Was quiet with lots of room and other campers. Toilets were open.
We only spent the night. Quiet place, good for an overnight stay. The ground is dirt and grass with some potholes, but nothing serious.
Superb parking area, very large, shaded or sunny, and above all free of rubbish. The nearby beach is magnificent. You can cycle and visit the salt marshes. You do have to pay, but only €5 for 24 hours. Unbeatable.
We stayed here for three nights. You can complain that many bars and clubs are closed, or enjoy the peace and quiet. Everything has already been said here about the parking fee, except by me. There is a discount! Stay 7 days, pay for 5! The parking meter works perfectly; you just have to give it time after each button press. You can get the ticket in less than 2 minutes.
We stayed one night after the ferry from Barcelona. Good and safe place. €5 for 24 hours.
A very pleasant place with toilets available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thanks to the community for providing this service.
A simple but nevertheless safe parking area. We stayed here from Saturday to Sunday and easily found a place in the shade. The only drawback for us was that unfortunately we could not take our dogs to the beach during the day.
Great price, but the toilets are locked at 8 p.m. That’s really strange :/
Excellent location, shaded parking, just a few steps from the sea and the town center. There are no services, but public toilets are available opposite if needed.
It is an excellent parking area, enormous! It is 200 m from the beach. We stopped for a few hours before catching the ferry. The price is very low, €5 per day. I recommend it.
Great place cause price is low: no camper services or water but public toilets and video surveillance are available. Plus, it is very close to the free beach, to the walk in the Saline and to the village. It's quite noisy though: at night you can hear discotheque or entertainment, and italian ppl parked there might be loud in the morning, even though they're very friendly. Overall positive!
Great spot! The beach with its promenade and the nature reserve are quickly reachable on foot. €5 per night for a monitored site and a strong sense of security. Nice jogging routes. During the day, from 08:00 to 20:00, there is a free public toilet. We managed to find a shady spot under a few trees.
Very convenient; at the beginning of July you can still find a few shady spots.
You don't have to pay, and for one night you get a HUGE, clean, perfectly quiet pitch.
Good parking area. During the day there is a free public toilet next door. Five minutes to the beach. Very cheap at €5 per day, but there are no other services. With a bit of luck you can find a shady spot. It was fairly empty in the afternoon, then gradually filled up toward evening.
Water fountain on the way toward the square, before the bridge on the right. Toilets opposite, open during the day. Very busy on Sundays. Few shady spaces. Bins on site, plus recycling bins on the way to the beach.
A beautiful place. Green surroundings with pine trees. Only some areas are shaded. Grass underfoot. We found it very clean despite it being Sunday and there being many people. Close to a free beach and another equipped beach. Next to the salt flats. There are no fixed spaces; everyone parks in whichever part of the grassy area they like. Ideal.
Quiet parking area in an unremarkable place. The toilet block is open during the day. Otherwise there are no services. The fee is €5 per day.
Convenient, with plenty of space, close to the sea and Tarquinia Lido... €5 per day, I think it is worth it!
