Picnic parking, unsuitable for motorhomes

This is a quiet parking area for a Friedwald, with picnic benches and a beautiful elevated view. It is not suitable for motorhomes because of a risk of getting stuck, although vans may manage the access. The approach is narrow, partly steep and winding, and the parking area is about 1 km from the town. A vehicle recently photographed a visitor’s number plate, prompting departure.

This is the parking lot for a forest cemetery. Directly beside the parking lot, you can see the first graves with name plaques on the trees. In the morning, a car arrived and someone walked around our vehicle. Shortly afterward, the car came back and our license plate was photographed. We then drove away. We felt that one should probably not spend the night in such a place.
Three stars for the beautiful view. However, this place is not suitable for motorhomes. Beware of getting stuck! There should be no problem for a van.

Parking lot on two levels with a gravel surface; almost flat. Access is narrow, partly steep and winding. Therefore, it is more suitable for vehicles under 7 m. Apart from picnic benches, there is only a trash can. Fantastic views of the Kuppenrhön from the parking lot and the Hessian Kegelspiel 200 m away. About 1 km to the village of Rasdorf.
