Been here?
Two-star municipal campsite 100 metres from Lac de Saint Croix, with arrivals from 2 pm. Large pitches, many shaded by trees, offer good space; staff are friendly and attentive. Sanitary facilities are basic but consistently clean; electricity is available. Prices around €24–26 per night for campers (less without electricity); on-site restaurant offers meals at reasonable prices.

Excellent campsite, very quiet at night. Access to the lake is really close, and the staff are very kind and accommodating. I recommend it; we will come back.
Warm welcome. Very clean sanitary facilities and showers. Quick access to the beach. Don't hesitate.
Top campsite. A 2-minute walk to Lake Sainte-Croix. We paid €23.88 per night in high season for a VW van and two people without electricity. Enough sanitary facilities, not ultra-modern but more than adequate.
Always a pleasant time at this campsite. Very welcoming staff. You only have to cross the road to reach the magnificent lake. Quiet place with friendly campers. We are happy to come back!
Excellent campsite, very kind staff. Everyone is allowed to choose a pitch according to their needs. Clean sanitary facilities. Cross the road and the lake is 100 meters away. Beautiful. €90 for 4 nights for a campervan and two people. I recommend it and hope to return.
Good campsite with some shaded pitches (ask the staff), clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The only flaw is the push-button taps, which run for an extremely short time—including the one for filling the water tank.
Pleasant campsite. Super-friendly older woman at reception. Large pitches under the trees. The only issue is that the sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated and can be dirty, but this is more due to the campers than the campsite. Otherwise, the campsite is very clean. People walk around every day collecting rubbish and emptying bins.
We were supposed to stay 2 nights but stayed 4. A very good, very clean site with a warm welcome and a reasonable price. The managers do everything necessary to make holidaymakers feel comfortable. They regularly walk around the campsite. True professionals, and it makes a difference.
We spent 3 peaceful nights here at the excellent site. Very friendly welcome. 01/06–04/06/26. The sanitary facilities are showing their age but are clean. The lake is fantastic. We took 2 great bike rides locally.
The campsite is great, just across the road from the lake and cycling distance to the Gorge. The reason for the low rating was the on site restaurant- we had very poor service from a rude waitress unfortunately. We waited over an hour for our meals and it was clear our order had been forgotten. We were not offered an apology. The food was very average. I would avoid the restaurant!
Large pitch with many trees. Access to the lake 200 m from the campsite. Very friendly welcome. Possibility of eating on site, with reasonably priced dishes (average €15). Very clean sanitary facilities. About €25 for four people in a motorhome with electricity, in mid-June.
Simple campsite with everything you need. The staff are friendly and the prices are low.
This campsite is closed “temporarily” for health reasons; the wastewater treatment system needs to be completely rebuilt! It's a shame this is not indicated more clearly.
Functional campsite with ok shower block although when I used the shower the water was not warm enough. As pointed out before on the 5 June they had not repaired the other shower block boiler. Lake was opposite on the other side of the road and the campsite has a restaurant.
Simple, well-maintained campsite without many extras. Pitches are mostly under trees. Short walk to the lake, and although the toilets and showers are dated, they are clean. Deduction for the sanitary buildings that were out of service and had to be repaired.
Good value, just a few steps to the lake, which is as good a lake as you will find. Paddle boarding as sunrise is a dream. The facilities are ok, but at €18 a night with no electric it’s acceptable. It did get quite busy, I’m not surprised as it is a great location. Fully recommended!
Pleasant welcome, reasonably shaded pitch, just a stone's throw from the lake, plus a great snack restaurant with quality products open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Its pizzas are excellent, especially the Diana. We came with our two large dogs and everything went very well. Delighted, we will come back.
Wonderful surroundings, just a few meters from the lake. Many pitches, so it was correspondingly full and lively. Unfortunately, the system is completely unstructured and the reception staff overwhelmed. It took an hour to get a pitch! I recommend arriving early and bringing time. Sanitary facilities okay. Restaurant has fair prices.
A very beautiful campsite, excellent value for money! A great starting point for exploring the area around the gorge. Only a few steps to Lake Sainte-Croix.
Clean and friendly; I highly recommend it.
Beautiful site, within walking distance of the lake / very tasty pizza / clean sanitary facilities / quiet.
Campsite with essential but clean facilities. The pitches are very large and shaded; despite being close to the road, it is very quiet at night. Fair prices. The lady at reception is very kind and gave us all the information needed to make the most of our stay. Excellent proximity to the lake and beach. The village can be reached via a convenient path. We will return.
Attention! This campsite does not accept motorhomes over 7.5 m, nor heavy goods vehicles.
Arrived at 6pm and reception was closing, luckily booked us in. Very basic facilities, no toilet seats, no toilet paper, no hooks at all in the shower??? No idea where to hang stuff. Most of the village is closed now. Probably great in the summer.
Very pleasant campsite, even in October. Very pleasant staff.
Campsite close to the beach, with access to the village on foot. A little disappointed by the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. The price is reasonable.
Large places. Very outdated & dirty toilets & showers. You have to pay extra for a very bad almost non functioning Wifi. No Bandwidth and numurous disconnections
Excellent campsite 200 m from the beach and 50 m from the forest. Ideal with a dog. You can eat or take away pizza until 9 p.m. Fresh bread rolls in the morning. One night, 2 people, 1 dog: €21.
Excellent staff! Very well received. Pleasant, shaded camping pitches. Located 250 m from the lakeshore. We are stopping here tonight as a stopover, but perhaps (certainly) for 2 nights. The price for one van and two people is €17.90 per day without electricity. I recommend it.
Beautiful site. Well organized—depending on your preference, such as electricity, you are assigned a pitch. Friendly. Typically French in terms of facilities: no toilet paper or soap. But there are hot showers and washing-up water. Good starting point for the beautiful lake across the road. We felt comfortable.
The site is basic but has everything necessary. I am deducting points because the restaurant/snack bar does not keep to its posted opening times. Snacks are supposed to be available until 5 p.m., but at 4:50 p.m. I was told there was nothing left. Only the restaurant from 6:30 p.m., and unfortunately it did not have what I wanted to eat, mainly pizza.
Friendly welcome, large pitches, sanitary facilities somewhat old but clean. The site is mostly under trees. You stand on gravel. The lake is nearby, just across the road.
Campsite 200 m on foot from the lake for swimming. Tree-lined; the pitches are rather small and not separated from each other. Sanitary facilities are adequate, and the price is excellent: €26 with electricity. There is also a decent little restaurant.
Large, shaded pitches, nice staff, sanitary facilities showing their age, no toilet paper or soap, but clean. Very good value for money. Good pizzeria. We felt comfortable.
Large campsite, nice staff, bar right at reception, and clean toilets and showers. Plenty of space and always some shade. Dogs get dirty quickly because the ground is very dusty. The best thing is the quick access to the lake (5 minutes on foot) and the gorge (5 minutes by car). We would recommend the site (€22 per night without electricity).
Friendly welcome, decent pitch for a van. Clean facilities and hot water. Not very noisy; we spent two nights without any problems. Bar and snack bar with entertainment. Lake 200 metres away, very affordable price: €34/night for 3 adults with electricity.
Good value for money... €30 for 2 people, 1 child and a dog. Like many municipal campsites in France, somewhat run-down, but friendly staff and a top location by the lake.
Basic campsite; all facilities are fine. Bread is available in the morning. Somewhat noisy, depending on where you are (we had a pitch next to the bar and busy road). There are quieter pitches too, but they were unavailable when we were there. Cross the road and you are immediately at the lake. €80 for 2 people, 3 nights with electricity.
Basic campsite; you can also eat at the bar (the pizza is not bad); clean showers and toilets (bring your own toilet paper); a small fenced playground for children. Its main strength is the location: simply cross the road (be careful) and walk for three minutes through the oak forest to reach the lake. Nearby, you can visit villages and the typical lavender fields.
A one-night-only campsite; one night is enough. Friendly welcome, but quite a few things need improving regarding cleanliness: full glass container, bins not emptied, cleaning leaves much to be desired, and random pitch organization. Positive: communal barbecue, on-site food, and proximity to the lake.
Excellent campsite. We arrived without a reservation in the middle of August. The lake is 200 metres away, with a snack bar, restaurant and bar available. There are also communal barbecues. Despite the number of holidaymakers, it is very quiet in the evening. We recommend this campsite and will return.
We spent one night here. Very basic campsite, toilets not particularly clean, but we were fine overall. We paid €23 for one night without electricity.
Very pleasant campsite, clean facilities, a practical washing-up area, and a very friendly welcome. We were allowed to choose our pitch, which we really appreciated. The snack bar hosted a karaoke evening during our stay, which was nice. The night was quiet.
Very good for visiting the gorges. The price was €30 per night for two adults, one child and one dog. I recommend it.
