Been here?
A small mountain camp with cabins, hiking opportunities, clean toilets and showers, and a restaurant serving local food including fresh trout. Access is extremely difficult and generally requires a 4x4, although a Sprinter may manage in dry conditions with skill and courage. The latest reported overnight stay with a meal cost 15€. There is no power grid, so vehicles cannot connect to electricity and only small devices can be charged through the solar system.

Thank you, Diana, for your hospitable and delicious food. You gave us an unforgettable stay, and we took you into our hearts. A place in the beautiful mountain world—paradise! The approach with a Sprinter is possible in dry conditions with courage and driving skill; the narrow hairpin bends are challenging. Continuing to the plateau is currently possible only with a 4x4 and very high ground clearance.
We were warmly welcomed by our host, who speaks French. The place is charming. We slept one night with a meal: a starter and one fresh trout taken from their trout pond—excellent. Price: €15. We used the campsite with our 4x4 equipped with a living module. The ascent to the camp is impossible without a 4x4. Absolute peace and quiet in the middle of nature. It was wonderful.
Wonderful site and friendly welcome. The track is passable only with a 4x4!
Impossible without a 4x4! We had to sleep in the parking lot by the lake, which was a little disappointing.
Great place, extremely hospitable people! Sanitary facilities very clean. Excellent starting point for hikes; we stayed 2 nights. Wi-Fi costs €3 per person; dinner and breakfast are highly recommended at €22 per person. The route from Biogradska Lake is very winding; we are only 5 m long and had to reverse almost everywhere. Difficult without a 4x4 but possible. Continuing via the wonderful plateau is possible and adventurous!
What a wonderful place! Wonderfully quiet with magnificent views. The road was tough even with a 4x4; without one, it would probably be impossible without damaging the car. No internet, exactly what we were looking for. We stayed two nights and were once again impressed by the hospitality. The pool does not open until July. We will come back! :)
Unfortunately, we had to cancel because with our van we got stuck on the road, and a local man kindly helped us turn around so we could go back down and sleep by the lake. The owner was nevertheless extremely kind, offered us her goulash, and was very understanding about our cancellation. If we had had a 4x4, we certainly would have stayed.
Wonderful place for an overnight stay! Very warm and accommodating operator! Toilets and shower always very clean, and the food excellent. Good starting point for hikes. Please come only with a 4x4.
The peace and quiet in the evening is simply incredible, as are the landscape and the hikes, which are highly recommended. Dajana is always helpful and friendly, and hygiene is very important to her; the sanitary facilities are always clean. The food is delicious, as described. The nature park charges €4 admission per person before the lake.
Great place! Warm, helpful owners! We had a breakdown on the way and they arranged everything so our car could be repaired. We stayed two nights in the cabins and it was very cozy. The food—trout and goulash—was delicious! Everything was super clean! Highly recommended! 4x4 only!
I passed by during a hike. Access is indeed complicated but ideal for 4x4s. Very warm welcome in French or English. Do not hesitate to eat the trout caught in front of us—it was very good!!! For only €15.
This camp is an absolute recommendation! It is a unique opportunity to stay overnight in the mountains. The view is breathtaking. The camp offers everything you need! Fresh spring water, clean toilets, and hot showers. The owners' family is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food served here is especially worth trying! The best food we had on our trip!
We spent one night (May 27) in this magical, isolated place. Dajana warmly welcomed us and speaks impeccable French. She prepared a trout that she had caught right in front of our eyes! We slept in a mini chalet and had an excellent night (duvet and blanket provided). The facilities with hot water are spotless. Accessible only by 4x4.
Fantastic campsite where you can also rent a cabin. The owners, especially their daughter Dajana, are incredibly kind. The road there is difficult: rough and full of hairpin bends. 4WD is recommended but not essential. Take your time and drive slowly. WARNING: At the entrance, only pay for the park tickets. Do not say that you are going to this campsite, otherwise you will have to pay 20 euros for the 'off-road route'.
Unfortunately, the camp was closed. We drove the road with a VW T4 Syncro 4x4. We got through without major problems. The way to the camp took an hour, and it may be more difficult for larger vehicles because of the sharp bends.
Super beautiful site; the area is wonderful for hiking. The sanitary facilities are clean and have wonderfully warm water. But more importantly, Dajana is the heart of the place! Very accommodating, and the food is wonderfully authentic! As described, the approach requires a 4x4; continuing onward is a scenic experience!
The best place in Montenegro to recharge. Dajana, the host, is exceptionally kind, something rarely seen nowadays. The evening and morning meals are very generous and excellent (the fresh trout is divine). €35 including breakfast for one night, €15 for the fresh trout dish she caught herself. The facilities and katuns are immaculate. Dajana also gives excellent hiking advice.
