This is a spacious parking area near Cartore village, with only 2-3 mostly flat spaces suitable for overnight stays. A fountain and restaurant are available, and several hiking routes begin nearby, including Val di Fua and Val di Teve. Overnight stays are possible, though the ground is slightly sloping; after rain, the exit becomes slippery and vehicles may get stuck. Access is narrow and suited mainly to small vans.

Large meadow where you can park, with a water fountain nearby. You have to be very careful if it rains because the exit becomes slippery and you risk getting stuck inside. You can sleep peacefully, although it is slightly sloped, not excessively so. Very close to the start of many hikes, including the one to Lake Duchessa.
This is not intended for motorhomes. Narrow road, difficult for two vehicles to pass. Only suitable for small vans.
Very nice parking area. Unfortunately, we were there in the rain and got stuck immediately (muddy ground or grass). Accordingly, not recommended in rain or wet conditions.
we stayed a couple nights here without any issues. so peaceful and quiet, particularly after the chaos of Rome and Tivoli. the hike to Lago Della duchessa is beautiful!
Great for one night. Great hiking. limited 4g. not very flat . you have to have dinner at the Restaurant in the village. Anna is really friendly and cooks all the food herself. Google will try and take you up a field track but there is a tarmac road.
The place is isolated but very beautiful, immersed in nature in the tiny and evocative village of Cartore, with only three houses. Excellent starting point for trekking to Lake Duchessa. Near the Valle del Salto motorway exit.
