A large gravel parking area suitable for overnight stays and as a starting point for walks to the lakes, with impressive views and easy arrival. It is very quiet at night but not perfectly level, and numerous cars use it on weekends. Camping is not allowed, and there are no services; strong wind, rain and cloud can make conditions difficult.

We slept here for one night and then did the nature trail the next day. Camping is not allowed, but it is perfectly fine for sleeping. The parking area is fairly level towards the signs with the maps.
It is a good, flat place in nature. Parking overnight is not a problem, but be careful if it is raining: because it is so high up, we were basically inside a cloud and there was strong wind, so strong that the motorhome moved with it. I recommend going only in clear weather. The climb is accessible to all vehicle sizes, but it is many kilometres uphill, so beware if you have a very heavy vehicle.
We stopped for one night. Fantastic place, of course with no facilities, but an excellent starting point for hikes and visiting the lakes.
