A very nice campsite near Turin. Ideal for getting there if you have a bicycle. The owner knows someone in Turin who repairs bicycles and can store yours for free. Very practical, knowing that bicycle theft is widespread. Ask him for the address.✦Translating

Wonderful pitch for visiting the city; a beautiful 6 km cycle path leads into the city. Secure bicycle storage at the café (ask at reception). The pitch is practical, clean and well maintained. Shower and toilet in a small bathroom, very nice. The comfort pitch has plenty of room for an awning and seating. Every space has a grass area and shade depending on the time of day. Very nice city campsite. Only 8 km from the center and easily reached via a cycle path through the park along the Po. Beautiful wooded campsite at the gates of Turin, in a nature reserve, with all amenities (except a swimming pool) and services nearby. Turin can be reached by bicycle via a cycle path or by bus. Very clean sanitary facilities, free showers and soap—the first time in all the campsites we have visited in Italy! The best city campsite! A warm welcome and the sites themselves, while close to others, feel that we are in nature. Our young girls loved the rabbits, squirrels and tadpoles next to our site. It’s an easy flat cycle into Turin and you can leave the bikes safe and secure in an appointed cafe in town and walk around free of charge. Turin is a cool city and lots to do with kids. We stopped at El Grinto campsite. It is more of a motorhome base than a campsite. Be careful: you should definitely not pay the €12 supplement for the private sanitary facilities. They are not private at all. On top of that, there is no hot water. They have just been renovated and are brand new, but it is really a rip-off.✦Translating

We have never stayed in a city campsite before but I think this is an exception. Situated near a huge local park with many paths and cycle routes and the river too. Just beautiful. The most noise came from the frogs in the pond. Very helpful staff. Bus and metro into town. The only issue was dirty floors in the shower / toilets because there is nothing to clean them with. One star deducted for the unpleasant experience: late at night, inside the campsite with the gates closed and video surveillance, I was conned out of €50 by a fake camper in trouble. My naivety, but the manager was stunned. I hope they further improve security after this incident! Be careful! Otherwise, the campsite is good and the staff friendly.✦Translating

Great city campsite. New and clean sanitary facilities, 12 minutes of hot water. In high season there may not be enough showers and toilets, as they are combined in one cubicle. Gravel pitch with grass around it. Excellent cycling along the Po to central Turin. Returning by bus or metro is more complicated because the metro closes early. I give five stars because for a true motorhome traveller this place is absolutely perfect! Public transport is just two steps away and takes you everywhere; essential facilities, very friendly staff, order and cleanliness. Freshwater and waste-water services at the pitch—never seen that before! What I do not understand is people who always complain about the bathrooms when they have huge motorhomes with luxury bathrooms. Use your motorhome instead.✦Translating

We were given a very warm welcome at the reception of this small campsite and paid €25 in January for our van and two people. The temporary toilets and showers are adequate during the renovation work. Quiet night.✦Translating

We originally paid for 3 nights and ended up staying a week! Ideal location for visiting Turin, perfect for my dog as massive dog field and park next to campsite. Reception staff were lovely and only reason it’s not 5 star is because pf shower/toilet block is very old and needs updating as you have to pay coins to use it but they were clean. ✦Translating

Motorhome facilities do not live up to the standard of the site, with permanently stationed campers in incredible disorder, inconvenient entry and exit times, and public transport far away. Calling it a campsite seems excessive; I would say it is a good motorhome area, 20 minutes on foot from the metro. Good welcome, ACSI discount in the low season, gated area with timed access, 6A electricity and water near the pitches. Direct access to the cycle path. Affiliated restaurant with good value for money. Bicycle rental available. Convenient grey-water and cassette drainage. Bathrooms need renovation, Wi-Fi is poor, and some pitches are narrow.✦Translating
