Campsite CLOSED!!!
1st visit for 50 years. Although it was closing for works to be done, and of course not entirely as I remembered it, still a natural, under the pines camp site a short distance from beaches. Extremely friendly and helpful owner happy to talk of old times when his grandpa owned the area.
Family campsite; we were well received. I find it a little expensive, but that is the price in this area. Very pleasant welcome, with all the cycle routes starting there for sightseeing. We were even treated to a small cinema session. I recommend it.
Where to begin? There was a misunderstanding about the price: they quoted us one price, but in the end it was another. Even so, the campsite staff were very nice, and the pitches were very spacious and level. The rest of the facilities were not as good, as almost everything was under construction and the bathrooms were quite outdated, especially the showers. The worst part was at night, because it is next to a nightclub and you can hear everything.
We were just passing through and thought we would stay one night, but we stayed four nights. Thank you for the warm welcome, which immediately makes you feel at ease. The sanitary facilities are very clean. Spacious, quiet and relaxing pitches. The sea is a 10-minute walk away. There are beautiful hikes and safe cycling routes right by the campsite. We would be delighted to return.
Very good campsite reopening for the season. Excellent welcome, attentive staff, sanitary facilities fine. No swimming pool or bar, but peace and space at an attractive price. They are waiting for you with open arms!
A very quiet and relaxing campsite. The owners are absolutely charming. We truly had three fantastic days. We recommend going because it is really worthwhile, especially for the value for money.
We were only supposed to stay one night but ended up staying two. Clean sanitary facilities and a very warm welcome from the owner, who took great care of us. The campsite is ideally located; it took us 15 minutes to walk with our two children, aged 4 and 7, to Llafranc beach, which is sublime. Even better at the moment because of problems with online reservations, so the campsite was almost private!
Warning: The “La Siesta” campsite is closed until probably June 15, 2025. The listed telephone number leads to the neighboring Camping Calella, which formerly belonged to “La Siesta” but is now independent and operating without authorization under the old name. The operator and the tourist office are aware of this.
Closed on September 23, 2024. The app says the end of September.
The campsite had plenty of spaces under the pines, with nobody there on August 31. However, the price charged for a van and two adults was €48, without electricity or services.
