Been here?
This riverside wild spot has spaces for camper vans, which should park higher up near the old guinguette. It was once quiet and empty, but the river is now crowded, especially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with families and barbecues. The river is suitable for swimming, and large waste and recycling bins are available. Access requires care because GPS may direct vehicles incorrectly, and one or two Marsican bears have been seen nearby.

It is now overcrowded, especially on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, when it fills with families and barbecues. You can hardly get into the river. It is a shame because all you hear is people, and there is almost no room to leave your things on the riverbank. People also come during the week, but not nearly as many as on the weekend. As a result, there is a lot of rubbish on the ground.Translating
A magnificent place, but beware: there are one or two brown bears a few dozen meters from the spot, with photographic evidence.Translating
I would like to thank whoever discovered this spot and shared it with us; it is magnificent. Warning: when coming from southern Italy, follow Ljos's comment, and when coming from the north, take the road on the right before the bus stop, because the GPS takes you 100 meters farther.Translating
Beautiful rural Italy next to a quiet stream. Perfect for a roof top tent, some litter pickers came in the morning and they were very friendly, no issues. Some rubbish about so please take your trash and keep the area clean.
Beautiful spot. Very rural & quiet. There were people picking up litter in the morning but they were friendly. There are large bins for waste and recycling available. please keep this place clean
We were alone there overnight. There is plenty of shade. The river is great for cooling off. There are rubbish containers right at the site, which is very practical. Locals also bring their rubbish there, so they occasionally drive past.Translating
