Picnic parking, mosquitoes troublesome

This is a small, clean and partly shaded picnic area beside the Heligenbronner See, with benches, tables, a barbecue hut and swimming access. The parking area is in front of the site because direct access is blocked, and the ground is uneven. It is quiet and attractive, but mosquitoes can be a serious problem. An inn is available in town.

Sitting by the lake and working or simply enjoying life is wonderful. Even with leveling wedges, we were still somewhat tilted, but the biggest problem was the mosquitoes! After airing the van, we had more than 30 mosquitoes inside. The night was therefore a minor nightmare. A few cars occasionally pass on the road, but they are not particularly disruptive.
Very quiet and beautiful place directly beside a swimming lake. We spent one night with a rooftop tent. Unfortunately, the ground is sloped everywhere.
Good quiet spot, but unfortunately everything is sloped.
