Central area, no grey-water disposal

The church bell rang in the weekend on Saturday at 5 p.m., but we did not hear it again afterward. The playground is beautiful, ideal with children. There were some young people hanging around, but we experienced no nuisance. The road is rather busy; cars drive past until late. At night, even horses...? We stood in front of the service pedestal, which was placed rather oddly. Later in the evening the whole area filled up with campers.

An absolutely clean and sensible motorhome pitch. Many thanks for being allowed to stay here free of charge! The great playground is also worth highlighting. Unfortunately, we did not find it quiet. Very loud conversations continued into the night, depending on the visitors, but fast cars also repeatedly drove past at night, the first trucks and buses arrived from 5 a.m., and at 7 there were loud church bells and a toilet smell.

Thank you to the municipality of Lich; this is a great place for an overnight stop while passing through. Lovely old town and several restaurants nearby. The toilets are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. It would be even better if you could use them at night for a fee of €0.50.

Basically, this could be a great motorhome pitch, but today, July 10, we unfortunately could not stay there at 7 p.m. because a certain over-60 camper clientele with dogs does not know the difference between a campsite and a motorhome pitch, and two of them had set up camping equipment and awnings. If you two read this, please stay away from places like this—you are ruining everything for us. Stay at home!!!!!

Great place for an overnight stay. The playground is huge and wonderful for all age groups! We were not particularly impressed by the town.

Good for a stopover or overnight stay. However, the motorhome spaces are only designated around the service point. Park with playgrounds directly adjacent.

Good overnight option; it is a shame that some spaces were occupied by trailers and cars. The site was completely full the day before yesterday. Toilets clean.

Free parking, ideal for one night, with a beautiful playground immediately nearby. Too bad some motorhome users spread out as if they were at a campsite and take two spaces instead of one. One of them kindly moved his bicycles so we could park. Life resumes its rhythm at 7:30 a.m. Thank you to the municipality!

Place directly by the historic town center. Quiet at night. Gladly again. We were there in August 2025.

Nicely situated, free, fantastic swing park for kids. You way be woken up by the church bell if you tend to sleep a bit longer! Had a bit of difficulty paying for the toilet (door to the women’s still didn’t open after putting money in).

Church bells at 7:00 a.m.: Yes, but only for 30 seconds. Traffic in the morning: Yes, but very moderate. Electricity: N/A, we are self-sufficient. Toilets are great. No grey-water disposal available. We had a quiet night. This is a top spot, especially as a stopover. It is very spacious, so you do not need to worry about finding nothing in the evening. We will come again.

I do not understand how, when I can use such a beautiful and free parking area, I can complain about emptying the bottle bank, ringing bells, road noise and electricity problems (I have solar, 150 Ah). Go into the forest or pay €30 at a campsite, or stay at home—that would be best.

Very good place for one night! A circus had just been visiting the meadow behind the site, but the performance was already over. So there was a really nice setting without any stress :-) I also found the place quiet, with no church bells or anything similar.

Beautifully located by Bürgerpark. A walk into the old town is worthwhile. But not suitable for noise-sensitive people. Despite the 30 km/h zone, there is a lot of road noise. When the bells ring in the morning, you are right underneath them. Even our dog was startled.

Beautiful, quiet parking area. Toilets closed. The electricity column took our money, but only after several attempts, and then the power went out in the middle of the night even though 4 kWh remained. What a shame. Otherwise the place is perfectly fine and free.

Gravel site right next to the road; from 6 a.m. there is loud, heavy traffic, and at 7 a.m. loud church bells. Beautiful castle park and attractive town centre. The electricity column swallowed two €1 coins without providing power, and after several attempts the responsible office was finally reached; they were friendly and committed. But despite assuring us that someone would come right away, unfortunately nobody came before we left.

Very quiet and free, thanks to the town! A walk through the nearby old town is worthwhile; there are nice restaurants in town, and do not forget to try Licher beer!

The location by the park with playground, and not far from Lidl and the town centre, is good, but on Thursday we were woken before 7 a.m. by the glass-container collection, and the church really does ring for quite a long time at 7. Despite the 30 km/h zone, there is also quite a lot of traffic. Google Maps initially tried to guide us from the motorway through a road limited to vehicles under 2.8 tonnes.

Thanks for providing a parking place here, but unfortunately the church and nearby road make it quite noisy.

We found this parking place very good! It is clean and we had no “noise”, unless you are bothered by the bells ringing at 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. With a dog you can take lovely walks here, and there is a really nice playground for children. We have a toilet in the vehicle, but we were very grateful for the general-waste bin. Many thanks to the municipality!

Everything we needed in terms of facilities was available. Plenty of passing traffic from 6:00 a.m. Thank you for providing this parking possibility.

My motorhome has a toilet that I can use free of charge 24 hours a day. There is also a leisure battery and solar panels to power the appliances while parked. I do not understand the criticism about toilets and electricity.

Thanks to the municipality for providing the facility; however, the site is very, very noisy because of the road right beside it. Manageable for one night, but not for anyone seeking rest and quiet sleep—for us, it is not suitable!

Nice parking area, thanks to the municipality. Directly by Bürgerpark/playground; around 8–10 campers spent the night there. I was there from Tuesday to Wednesday and there were still spaces available; in good weather at the weekend it probably looks different. Electricity, water and toilet disposal available. I will use this place again when passing through.
