Free daytime parking beside the information centre and port, with a small view over the harbour and a flat surface. Overnight parking is not permitted, and visitors may be asked to use another section to leave space for customers. Bikes can be rented from 12€/day, and Kinderdijk is accessible by a pleasant cycle route, with the entrance 5 km away.

A great spot with a small view of the harbor; it is flat and the connection is good.
We got approached by an aggressive man in a white van saying you cannot park here over night only during the day .. the only place you can park overnight is HIS campsite .. which if you read the reviews it’s very poor and he’s aggressive even on his own site .. I left and chose to stay somewhere else and not his campsite .. the whole area has no signs stating any restrictions or no overnight so as far as I could see he is the only thing stopping you over nighting there …
Great free parking, and we parked here during the day to visit the area. However we were approached by the shop owner and asked us to use another area of the (free) parking, so that there was space available for his customers. He was polite, and we moved to another spot in the parking .
We left our van here for the afternoon. You are at the starting point of the cycle path along the mill route. A great ride to do. The parking is free.
