This is a beautiful picnic area beside the Lauter in the Lautertal, with a grill area, benches, and tables. It is a good starting point for cycling tours and can be cool and shady in summer, with Märzenbecher flowers at the forest edge in spring. The area is popular, with people arriving and leaving until late at night. Access is somewhat narrow, and mobile reception is very poor.

Very beautiful, quiet place on the Lauter. Barbecue area with benches and tables available. Very busy, with people coming and going until late at night. Ideal starting point for bike tours. In spring, many spring snowflakes bloom at the edge of the forest.
