A rough, windy gravel spot beside the Orta River, accessible to motorhomes via a well-maintained dead-end gravel road and small bridges. Wild camping and overnight stays are possible, but there are no facilities, so you need your own toilet. The river is impressive and bathing is possible, although some sections have strong currents. Metal scraps, wire and old cartridges are present, and there is little comfort.

If you park directly at the edge of the gravel pit by the water, it is really beautiful! Swimming in the river is possible, with strong currents in places. No facilities, so your own toilet is necessary. Camping is rather unsuitable because of the gravel. It is somewhat windy because there are few trees in the valley. Scrap metal, wire, and glass or plastic shards are scattered around in places. Be careful where you park and inspect the spot beforehand.
From the main road called Hisdal, turn left after the bridge onto the road. From this bridge it is a 3-minute drive to the gravel area. You pass another bridge on the way; keep left after it. It is a dead-end gravel road in good condition. The site borders the Orta River. The camper stands on gravel. Fishing and a refreshing swim in the Orta are possible.

Very nice place with a beautiful view, including over Popeye Village. You can enjoy walking in the area. Easily accessible with any type of camper. Unfortunately currently unusable, because it rained yesterday and the whole place is now flooded.
