Roadside parking in the shade of trees with a view of Lake Montriond. It is busy during the day but very quiet at night because the road is a dead end. The narrow area generally fits only one van, although there are wider spots at the end of the lake. A ravine beside the road makes the area unsafe for small children.

Cool place with a beautiful view of the lake and trees, but one drawback regarding safety—not for cars, since after 9–10 p.m. there is hardly any traffic, but with small children it is dangerous because of the ravine.Translating
was a great place to stay. busy during the day time with others parking for the lake but very quiet at night. plenty of space for a few vans along the road side. very quiet at night as the road is a dead end. try to park at the tarmac layby as there is a path down to the lake for a swim. stayed there for 3 nights. can MTB from there, just roll down to morzine in the morning and back via ardent
Nice view through the trees, only fits 1 van otherwise narrow. There's wider spots at the end of the lake by the road.
