Spacious, level parking at the entrance to Monóvar, with a restaurant in the square and a petrol station and supermarket nearby. Recent reports describe the area as somewhat run down, with dogs barking continually. It can be quiet at night, although loud drumming has occurred on a Monday evening.

Not particularly inviting. Dogs barking continually. All in all, a bit run down. We moved on.
We stayed the night in the company of a Spanish drumming band that practiced for over two hours! Monday night.. The general area is tidy but the further away from the road it becomes a canine toilet. Quiet at night and ok if youyin the area but maybe not on a Monday night.
Passed by but Took Another spot. This looked very boring.. maybe good to explore the town
We slept peacefully. The Guardia Civil is opposite.Translating
