A quiet forest picnic area beside a 28m lookout tower, suitable for overnight stays. Recent comments describe a clean toilet, picnic shelter, tables, rubbish bins, fire pit and quiet nights, with occasional visitors. Access is via an excellent gravel road, but an older comment considered it suitable for vehicles up to 6m. Mosquitos and horseflies can be troublesome.

Silent night, few visitors to the tower and mushroom pickers in the morning. The toilet is new and clean with paper and the picnic shelter looks quite new as well. Mosquitos but then again a rainy couple of days. Perfect for dog people.
Nice motorhome site in the forest, quiet and clean, with bins, a fire pit and a covered seating area. The toilet was clean! Nice walks in the area to various attractions. (World War I history.) Access via an excellent gravel road; even a tractor-trailer drove through here!
Very good place, quiet and with everything available, a state hiking site.
We spent one night here in absolute peace—a wonderful, clean place to stay overnight and for an idyllic walk in the picturesque forest. Clearly 5 stars! In my opinion, the access is suitable for panel vans up to 6 m maximum.
Nice place. We slept in a rooftop tent on the car. The night was fine. The only dry toilet was dirty. The road was okay.
Quiet and accessible to everyone. In the evening, some young people came to do drifts, but we went out to calm them down! Peaceful night.
