Been here?
This large lakeside parking area is a calm overnight stop with a sandy beach, swimming area and simple dry toilets. Motorhomes should use the designated row, which slopes toward the lake and often requires leveling blocks. Bins are available, and the maximum stay is 24 hours. During a fire ban, grilling is permitted only at official grill sites.

Beautiful place, thank you for allowing us to stay here. I cannot understand why, during a fire ban (“Eldningsförbud”), when grilling is permitted only at official barbecue sites, someone would light their own grill next to the forest. You are contributing to campers soon no longer being tolerated here.
According to the sign, motorhomes are supposed to park in a line on the right-hand side. Someone comes to check and also issues fines. The lake is shallow and almost entirely sandy, so you can practically walk across it. We spent a peaceful night here. Thank you for such a beautiful spot.
A calm and pleasant spot a bit away from the road. There’s a swimming area with a beautiful sandy beach and simple toilets. The row where motorhomes are allowed to park slopes down toward the lake, so we had to use leveling blocks.
Very nice beach with good water quality. There are plenty of trash bins, and a dry toilet is also available. After arriving in the evening, we chose a parking space in the rows that was reasonably level. Nobody objected, since we did not stay for 48 hours.
Enough space! You can go swimming! Quiet for one night! Waste disposal available! We didn’t look at the toilets!
We had a good night at this spot. We had to use leveling blocks, as there is little flat space in the lane reserved for motorhomes. Trash bins and a dry toilet. We were able to swim; the beach and lake are very close.
A very beautiful place, as already described. We went swimming in the lake in the morning; the sandy beach was simply wonderful!!!
Perfect in early April—very quiet and we were alone. Waste container available; there is nothing else, which is enough. One row for motorhomes, maximum 24 hours.
Nice place for a free night. Be aware of the campervan reserved parkingspots. Park so everyone can fit (in/out). The ground is not to flat. Follow the guidelines to not get a ticket.
Beautiful parking area by the lake. Given its size, I think it gets very busy in high season. We were there with three campers (August). Only a dry toilet. We took a beautiful walk.
Nice place, slept well.
Fantastic place!!! Great beach, clean water, lots of parking spaces, one side designated as a motorhome area, but currently all spaces can be used for parking, including motorhomes, because there are no supplementary signs. Aimo comes and checks the 24-hour rule.
Very pleasant, but the beach shoreline is a little dirty.
A very nice motorhome area close to the beach, plenty of space, although the middle section of the motorhome row has a substantial slope. Many cars are parked in the motorhome spaces, so you can arrive late in the evening and still find a spot. Clean toilets! Be careful not to park beyond the first row designated for motorhomes, as it is monitored by a parking company, which may result in fines.
Very beautiful, spacious place with a great beach, also suitable for children. Ideal overnight spot for long trailers or large motorhomes. Any unevenness can easily be compensated for by parking lengthwise or crosswise.
Good place for an overnight stay, but quite uneven. We had to use leveling blocks. Motorhome spaces are designated only in the top row. Please do not overcrowd the place so it can be preserved.
Large, forest setting by the lake. Excellent for being free. Plenty of space. Not full at all in Swedish high season (mid July 2025). I’d rather pay a small fee though than have the pit toilets filled to the brim as they were. The place is at over capacity on average.
Dry toilet, trash and a swimming lake available. We arrived at 18:30 and there were already six campers, one car with a rooftop tent, and a few other cars. The parking area is huge, and if you don’t block all the car spaces for swimmers during the day, there is enough room here in the evening. All campers are spread out. No problem even in high season and sunny weather. As always, use common sense.
Bad. You can only park in a line, and then you are completely uneven.
Not bad, but a victim of its own success—it fills up with motorhomes very quickly!
Very nice place. A sign at the entrance gives the parking regulations: please park only on the right-hand side; the rest of the area is exclusively for cars.
Very large parking area by a beautiful swimming lake. We stayed here for two nights. Fine in the low season. Dry toilet and waste bins available. On average, five campers/caravans per night. Quiet. Beautiful lake and beach, and lovely walking area. On Friday mornings at 6:30, the waste bins are emptied. In high season, late arrival and early departure may be necessary because local residents use the parking area for recreation.
Great place with a beach! One of the best free spots without facilities but with a big plus.
Great place. Also ideal in winter.
Great place, also suitable for winter camping! Trash bins, dry composting toilet, everything excellent! Please keep it clean and tidy!
