Parking de Baillot, 46200, Souillac
Been here?
Camping-Car Park area on Dordogne riverbank near town center with abbey, museum, and canoeing. €12/night; €5 access card (lifetime). Clean, quiet, wooded setting. Fairly large spots but lack shade. Warning: GPS misdirects to narrow one-way street—real entrance is behind bus parking. Services and electricity free once inside (all working, January 2026). Outdoor furniture not allowed. Water point outdated.

€15 with an ACSI card at the shady campsite with a swimming pool right next door! So avoid this place.Translating
Ridiculous, the pitches are far too cramped; we are packed in on top of one another. If I am going to pay, I will not come back here.Translating
Parking area very close to the town center, clean and quiet. It lacks some (actually a lot of) shade, but that will come with time. In my opinion, the traffic direction needs reviewing, but that is a detail. We will gladly return.Translating
Warning! The GPS route sends you down a narrow one-way street where the exit barrier is located, with an inactive signpost for an entrance. The entrance is behind the bus parking area. I am surprised there is no comment about this! In 1.5 hours, four motorhome drivers got trapped, myself included. Perhaps it should be better signposted in town depending on the direction of arrival.Translating
On the night of the 21st to the 22nd, it was marked as “closed for an event.” It looked clean and well maintained, but we could not stay. It seemed like a quiet area with no traffic.Translating
Practical, clean, functional, quiet, well located, and €12 per night. Great to find water at -7°C in January.Translating
Very convenient parking area, with fairly large pitches. Very quiet, almost in the center of the village.Translating
12e with free electric. all points working. water and services free once inside. very quiet night only 3 vans on the site. a big motorhome is parked outside in the bus parking but no buses so seems ok too
It is forbidden to put out chairs and a table. €6 to use the services is outrageous. What a load of nonsense.Translating
Tiny pitches. Maintenance leaves much to be desired. What a shame; it is a beautiful village that deserved better.Translating
Terrible parking area; only one electrical outlet out of 20 works! Some English motorhome drivers were there, acting as if they were residents and taking photos of you and your motorhome to make you move!Translating
Good Camping-Car Park area, with stabilized pitches. Only the water terminal with a push button is from another era; otherwise everything is fine!Translating
Very beautiful, well-maintained area, flat pitches, quiet, close to the center. A lovely stay, which is not always the case with Camping-Car Park!Translating
Very pleasant and quiet parking area, but I do not understand the rules stating that putting out tables and chairs is forbidden.Translating
We arrived late, with no problems; everything works. Convenient for visiting the area, close to the town center. No shade yet, but the trees are growing and it will come. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Very beautiful area, but no shade. Spacious and level, close to shops.Translating
We arrived to the machine broken so called the number. We were told to register on the app to book. We did, well tried but it would not accept a UK phone number. We called 3 times (very helpful on the phone) and eventually got an account set up. It then became apparent you had to join for a year and the cost, with 1 night was 48 euros. Very frustrating. We found somewhere else.
Hello. We arrived and, as is often the case, the terminal was not working, and we were dependent on office opening hours to enter or leave. Three motorhomes are spread out. The lost revenue could have helped with maintenance; we had to cut branches to clear the way and remove dead branches.Translating
Great! We arrived late and there was space. Very clean!Translating
It is certainly a shame, but we did not stop. The barrier was open, one motorhome was parked there, and no other vehicles were present early in the evening at this time of year. There was no shade, tall grass, and an uninviting impression of neglect. Yet it has many advantages that are not being used. We preferred the neighboring campsite.Translating
Very beautiful area; all services work. A minor drawback is the lack of shade in hot weather.Translating
Well-located area, angled parking, all services working, although the recharging screen is temperamental. Nice Friday market and a good butcher on the main avenue. Quiet night.Translating
Very well-located area. Level ground. Water, waste disposal, and electricity all fine. Peaceful night.
I cannot understand the negative reviews! It is a normal, orderly parking area with water and waste disposal, including electricity. You know the price beforehand! There are also a few shaded pitches. The small trees simply still need to grow. It is only a few meters to the Dordogne, where you can take beautiful walks or do sports. The town and cathedral are worth visiting!
The card-charging terminal is always out of order. The app was really useful to us. Parking area with all services. No shade. In town.
