Lakeside parking, traffic and dogs

I stayed here in mid-September, on a Saturday evening... we were practically alone... no disturbing noise... of course, a few cars passed and we could also hear some distant barking, but it is a wonderful place. It is worth stopping for one night. We saw the sunset and sunrise.

Very beautiful view. The road is only lightly trafficked. We found a level spot with shade. While we were there, a cocktail stand was set up. We found the place pleasant for spending the night.

Fine for one night, but unfortunately it is not dead quiet as previous reviews claim; it is right next to a road where a car passes every 5–10 minutes (until late in the evening, and it starts again around 6:00 a.m.), plus a cacophony of barking dogs, especially in the evening. At night the barking decreases somewhat and is easy to muffle with earplugs. Still four stars for the beautiful view.

So beautiful and quiet. Even tho it's next to the road, there's barely any traffic. Only one other car stopped to see the view while I was there.

A wonderfully panoramic view and a quiet place for the night. Many visitors during the day, mostly just a short photo stop. Unfortunately, there is a lot of litter!

Beautiful place, quiet, and if you're lucky you can even park in the shade under the tree. Unfortunately, the drinking fountain has been shut off, so there is no water.

Very beautiful view of the lake, but a lot of traffic in summer. I spent one night here. Picnic tables are available.

We are delighted. What a beautiful view! We parked well in the car park and shared it with another camper. The road was very quiet at night! We have never seen so many fireflies as we did there! Great place for an overnight stay!
