50 Chemin de la Grande Bastide, 30400, Villeneuve-lès-Avignon
Been here?
A free, flat parking area near the camp entrance, with a working water tap and a playground with toilets nearby. It is fairly quiet at night, but traffic, pedestrians and football activity can make the daytime busy. The recently enlarged car park is tighter; a 6.4m campervan only just managed to enter, and larger or wider vehicles may struggle. Overnight parking is limited to 12h.

This car park has recently been revamped. It is now bigger with more spaces but much tighter. We only just managed to manoeuvre into a space with our 6.4 m campervan; anything larger or wider will probably struggle. The car park became busy on Wednesday evening at about 6 p.m. because of football training—there was not a space left! Working tap at the entrance, possibly potable, recycling bins, lights and camera.
Okay car park for visiting Avignon, with few spaces but safe. We spent three nights, Sunday to Wednesday. Pros: safe, cycle paths and a bus into town, fairly quiet at night. Cons: tight spaces, lots of traffic and people during the day.
Not very good during football season. No spaces left, lots of cars.
Quiet night, all good.
Quiet night. The water tap is working.
We had a good night here. Free for a maximum of 12 hours. The football youngsters’ noise did not last too long.
Relatively quiet swimming-pool car park. Recommended.
Family campsite, very friendly. Clean facilities. Shady pitch. Very pleasant welcome. Human-scale campsite, much more enjoyable than the campsites near Avignon.
It is fine for spending the night. We slept peacefully.
Great place for a night, next to the road yet quiet and safe. Two gazebos, no toilet.
