This is a nature-side parking area by the Les Ecrins socio-cultural centre, suitable for a lunch break. Garbage bins are available, and some shade has developed, although the trees are still young. The N 94 road runs just above, and overnight stays are not permitted.

Nice spot ! Told by policeman however that even though there are no signs you can’t sleep here, he asked us to move on after we had our dinner at 6pm x
