Saint-Chipoli, 81110, Dourgne
Been here?
Shaded picnic area beside the old baths, with tables, a water point and a barbecue. It is on the hiking route to the chapel and near a cave, climbing area and other outdoor activities. The site is fairly busy during the day but usually quiet at night, although there can be morning traffic from fishermen and hikers. There is no mobile network.

The place is particularly peaceful and immersive, with a very soothing natural atmosphere. The constant sound of the stream reinforces the feeling of tranquility. A path higher up is sometimes used by visitors heading to a cave. The night was peaceful and undisturbed. No Wi-Fi, however.Translating
I spent two nights here; it was perfect. The place is beautiful, with a water point, tables and an area for barbecuing, which I did not use. Fairly busy during the day but deserted at night. I climbed up to Saint Ferréol Chapel; it is magnificent. Be aware that it is colder under the trees and there is almost no signal.Translating
Very good for a lunchtime meal! Worth considering for the night. Beautiful, relaxing place.Translating

It perfectly met my expectations. Starting point for my mountain-bike tour. Quiet once the youngsters had finished using the barbecue. Note: the nearby municipal campsite is inexpensive. Thanks to the municipality for tolerating motorhomes.Translating
A few people came to use the barbecue and have a picnic, but they left quickly, and I had a very good night. There is a water point, picnic table, barbecue, fitness trail, hiking routes and climbing areas.Translating
