Nice little place for staying overnight. Many pitches, also for tents. Unfortunately, too few toilets and showers. But a very nice woman comes twice a day to clean and collect payment. Camping Card accepted. Unfortunately, the town is not very clean and there is nothing going on. Apart from the hunting museum, there are no museums left. So just stay here overnight and then move on.
Nicely located, level spaces on gravel, which is also fine in the rain. The showers flood everything, and one toilet plus one disabled toilet is far too little for the number of pitches, hence only three stars.
Good campsite that is easy to reach, 15 minutes from Selfoss via paved roads. The shower is terrible; the water drained very slowly, causing the whole room to flood, so I had to dry and dress in the main room. Luckily, it was 3am.
Wonderfully little campsite. Super Nice owner, who talks to everyone personally. Payment via card is possible (or int. transaction, if nobody is there). I wish there were more than 2 toilets, because there are already quite a lot of people and you always have to wait. but everything else is wonderful - would come again, thank you :)
A quiet campsite in the heart of nature, far from the tourist crowds. Everything necessary is there, no more.
Simple little campsite in nature. The access road was somewhat rough, partly a gravel track (about 20 km). At first there was no staff on site. Around 7 p.m., the cashier came by and knocked on the vehicle. Overall it was okay, but I would not go there a second time.
Great place! Everything a camper needs is there. Very clean, hot shower without coin hassle. The site is level and the area is very beautiful. Gray-water, toilet and garbage disposal are all directly on site. Fresh water too, of course. The CampingCard is accepted. Finally, a very nice and friendly owner. I stayed three nights and took day trips from there.
A very beautiful campsite, away from the many tourists, in a natural setting! It is worth taking a detour. It is by far the best campsite on our trip, and the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful! Check the opening hours on the CampingCard website! The service and disposal facilities are perfect; otherwise, everything you need is available.
We wanted to spend the night here, but found everything closed. We called and nobody answered. We had to leave.
Great campsite, truly wonderful welcome; the person really took excellent care of us, thanks again to her!!! Top-notch facilities, covered kitchen, table and laundry facilities included in the price! Nothing to complain about!
Small gravel area and large, uneven meadow. The shower only works with coins, and only one of the two toilets is open (it smells unpleasant). The area is quite nice. We continued on anyway.
Nice location. Quiet. Friendly people who could exchange money for the showers. Facilities: showers, toilets, washing-up areas, washing machine, clothesline. Plenty of space to park. Place to dump wastewater. Garden hose with water. Small table with chairs inside and a picnic area outside.
Good in its simplicity. All the facilities you need. Water to connect and fill up. Hot washing-up water. Many power points. And Icelandically clean! Showers require coins, but I could exchange them with the hostess. The surroundings are flat, almost like the Netherlands. Many birds.
Simple but very clean campsite. If there is a lot of wind, it is absolutely not sheltered. We slept one night, and the second night we went to sleep next to the Bordeaux building in the village.
Very clean little campsite. A path runs along the sea. Possibility of eating indoors for a few people. Prepare your four 50-krona coins if you want to shower! That is enough for two people. Near the church is a renowned langoustine restaurant. Absolutely delicious!
