Boulevard Roger Rocher, 42000, Saint-Étienne
Been here?
This is a spacious, shaded parking area by the Geoffrey Guichard Stadium, suitable for day and night stays except during standby periods and match days. A tram stop provides direct access to Saint-Étienne centre for 1,90€, and museums are also reachable on foot. The parking is sometimes quiet but can be noisy, especially during matches, events or from young people and traffic. Match-day or event evenings may require moving to nearby quieter streets.

Convenient for visiting Saint-Étienne, as the tram takes you directly to the city centre for €1.90, with the ticket bought at the machine. Possible for one night, but somewhat noisy. On the other hand, there is shade for our trucks.
We have spent the night here around twelve times, mostly without any particular disturbance. It is inevitably livelier on match nights or during events at the brasserie. In that case, you can retreat to quiet streets in the neighbourhood, such as Rue de l’Artisanat and Rue du Concept.
Very noisy, with young people playing music at full volume. Incredible that a city like Saint-Étienne has no place for motorhomes. There were birds crying because of the noise and streetlights. Avoid it; keep driving. What a shame.
Spacious and shaded place. Central location for museums and the city centre, easily accessible on foot or by tram.
It is simply absurd that a city like Saint-Étienne has made no provision for welcoming motorhomes for the arrival of the Tour de France stage.
