A quiet, level parking area beside a river and woodland, suitable for large motorhomes. It has picnic benches, a barbecue point, bins and a children’s playground, with a football field nearby. Access is tight in places, and some roads have weight limits. A bottle bank can cause occasional activity, but nights are generally quiet.

Nice quiet and flay parking suitable to large motorhomes, although the road access is quite tight in places and there are some weight limited roads. We slept well.
27-02-2026. Stayed overnight. Hard standing and level. Beside the road but little traffic. Quiet overnight. There is a bottle bank in the car park so there was some comings and going. Not an issue for me. Small park with picnic benches and a bbq point at rear of the car park. Peaceful. Great find.
Stopped for a lunch break Saturday, so a junior football game being played and plenty of parents' cars there. No problem parking though. Should imagine it would be fine for an overnight. Nice level site facing the river and woodland.
Quiet, flat place. Indeed, you should not go to the address indicated but to the football field. The toilets were closed when I visited, however.
Very nice place for a lunch break, a large area beside a small river and near the football stadium, very clean and in the middle of the forest, with bins.
