Great spot for hiking to the Wildnis Church, 5 km over rough terrain. Allow about two hours, and bring sausages for grilling. There is a cozy barbecue spot by the church, as well as the famous forest toilets. Plenty of wood is available in the woodshed.Translating

Recently clearly marked with “no overnight / camping” signs! It can get expensive in Finland if you try anyway.Translating
A wonderfully quiet overnight spot!Translating
Excellent parking for starting the route to Pielpajärvi Church. We did not spend the night here because, at the last minute, we found an ideal spot a few kilometers east of Inari with a shelter and a river.Translating
Beautiful, quiet spot. Frequently visited by locals for hiking. Very nice, well-marked hiking trail. Toilets and garbage bins available.Translating
Very quiet spot. Toilets and garbage containers available. The approximately 5 km hike to the church was a dream; it is a must-do. For one night, it is excellent. One exit farther on, after the museum, you can buy local reindeer meat. Very nice family at Journin Poro Farm, signposted from the main road.Translating
Parking space with a pit toilet. Quiet. No signs prohibiting parking. In Inari itself, camping is prohibited in all parking lots except the campsite.Translating
14 March 2022: Unfortunately, a “Private—camping prohibited” sign has now been installed, with a small “€10” note—whatever that is supposed to mean. We preferred to drive on in the evening.Translating
Beautiful, quiet overnight spot, cleared even in winter. In good weather, great views of the Northern Lights. The church is 9 km round trip from the parking lot. There are also opportunities for short walks through a beautiful winter landscape.Translating
Very quiet place, with two toilets, which we did not inspect. Large garbage bin.Translating
