Been here?
This is a very small, family-run campsite directly on the Rhine, with attractive views of the river, ships and nearby trains. It has electricity, clean toilets and showers, a small beer garden and a food truck serving snacks, beer and wine. Shopping is possible on foot in 3 minutes, but the site is not suitable for large motorhomes and wastewater disposal is difficult.

The value for money is absolutely fine. The food truck and bread-roll service are excellent!
We arrived there today and actually wanted to stay! It was during the lunch break, but the operators were present. There was no welcome or response. It was rather strange! That is not how it should be. We turned around and left. What a shame!
Very nice and small site on the Rhine. It has everything you need. Shopping is possible within 3 minutes. The price is okay. Small beer garden on site. Debby and Mi are very nice and helpful. We wish them every success with the site and will gladly come back!
Perfect! Simple, clean, welcoming. Top atmosphere on the banks of the Rhine.
We stayed here for two nights and parked comfortably. Everything needed is available, and in our opinion the value for money is also right. Rewe and Lidl are nearby and within walking distance for shopping.
What a gem - small, cosy and with a beautiful view of the bustling Rhen river. The restaurant served ice cold beer, chilled local wine and delicious flammenkeuche. Highly recommended!
We immediately felt at home at this site. Although we were in the second row, we had a lovely view of the Rhine, the ships and the trains. The site is creatively designed with lots of charm. The operators are warm and relaxed, and the atmosphere is simply fantastic. Keep it up, ladies—you are doing a great job! We will gladly come back.
A small, family-run site with everything a camper needs. The toilets and showers are clean. The two site owners are very nice and friendly. Pleasant beer garden on the Rhine at the site. Shopping facilities nearby. Everything is excellent, absolutely recommended.
We spontaneously chose this site and were pleasantly surprised. We got a great pitch directly on the Rhine, with electricity, very clean sanitary facilities, and shopping within walking distance. The only drawback is that wastewater disposal is difficult. Recommended. Not suitable for large motorhomes.
Friendly, accommodating and uncomplicated. Site directly on the Rhine. Electricity is available, as are clean toilets and showers. From midday there is a food truck with snacks, draft beer and wine. Highly recommended and we would gladly return!
We arrived spontaneously and were able to book a night without any complications. Very friendly welcome from the owners. We had a lovely spot right by the water with a fantastic view. We had only booked one pitch, but spontaneously extended our stay, met some nice people and unfortunately continued on with tears in our eyes. We will be back! Best wishes from Olli and Angi.
A campsite with a very, very beautiful view. The location on the Rhine is simply brilliant. There are also very good bus and train connections and several supermarkets. Of course, this also means you can hear the trains. You should be aware of that. And the wonderful view of the Rhine also has the downside that you can hear the ships traveling on it.
Super nice site, uncomplicated, extremely friendly staff, everything you need.
The five stars are for the beautiful location and the friendliness! However, there are inconsiderate parents who let their children race loudly around the site on Bobby Cars at 6:30 on Sunday morning, shouting. I raised three children myself and taught them decency and respect, so they could quietly draw in the morning, etc. The site cannot be blamed for that—but the parents can!
Price €32 for a motorhome, two people and electricity. Showers and toilet are in a newer wooden container—clean and smart. Beautiful location below the castle. A little dark in the evening without a headlamp. In summer the site must be even nicer than at this time of year.
There is not much to add—friendly welcome from the two young ladies, uncomplicated registration, level pitches. However, be aware that the Rhine is on one side, with ship engines active at night, and the B9 road and railway line are on the other. But where is that not the case in the Middle Rhine Valley? ;-)
A very pleasant stay at this campsite, friendly welcome, and a great view of the river. Filling up the van with water was a bit awkward but doable. I had lovely food at the snack bar so all good.
Very nice operators, popular, cosy, colourful and somewhat makeshift. A place to feel comfortable and make contacts. No luxury. Waste separation requested; wine and drinks can be purchased even when the bar is closed. Bread-roll service, supply and disposal free of charge, but adventurous. Half a point deducted: pitches are dried out and gravelly. €28/night, 2 people, self-sufficient, checkout 11:00, card payment accepted.
We were there in May and unfortunately stood in the back row. Nevertheless, we could look out over the Rhine, the ships and the trains. We really liked the site. The operators designed it in a cool and alternative way and were correspondingly relaxed. We liked the atmosphere very much. We found the fighter jets carrying out training flights there very intimidating.
Very nice operators. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean sanitary facilities. We will gladly come back.
We stayed on the site for a week and were in the front row. A wonderful view of the Rhine, the passing ships and Schönblick Castle. There is still room for improvement. The staircase to the toilets is very precarious and suitable only for pedestrians without disabilities. The rubbish was overflowing. There is no tap on either side of the reception, so you have to go all the way to the front to get water. The outdoor washing area was blocked during our stay, and it was not possible to wash your hands in the men's toilet next to reception. The two ladies should be somewhat friendlier toward their guests and not look away when they meet them on the site. A friendly hello is part of the job for the boss.
A great motorhome site directly on the Rhine ☝️ I felt really comfortable and everything was 100% in order. Ice machine in the village and various shops within walking distance. Many thanks to you two and the team.
Very nice site directly on the Rhine. Super nice operators. Delicious small dishes. Clean sanitary facilities. Shopping possible in the immediate vicinity. Cycle path directly behind the site. We will come back.
The pitches are spacious and well laid out—especially the first row directly on the Rhine is a real highlight! The view is fantastic, ideal for relaxing. The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome immediately. Overall, there is a very pleasant, peaceful atmosphere on the site.
