A small, quiet car park at the top of town, with only a few level spaces suitable for smaller campers. Parking is free from 6pm until 8am, but vehicles over 2.5 tonnes are not allowed. The entrance can be tricky, with one entrance previously blocked, although it is quieter than the main car park by the fire station.

Good spot. Much quieter than the main car park by the fire station. If coming from town, google maps will probably take you in through the car park exit but if you carry on over the roundabout and then turn right down the first side street this will take you in around the back.
Tiny car park and tricky to find even with coordinates. One entrance blocked with a shipping container. Moved on, too much faff.
it's free from 6pm untill 8am . great little spot when visiting Merthyr Tydfil
