This spacious hiking parking area offers beautiful views over the Rhine and Switzerland, with a grill and cabin nearby. It is slightly sloping and has no services, so campers must be self-sufficient. Recent visitors report peaceful nights and say the former construction site is gone. Young people with motocross bikes or loud music can sometimes make the place noisy.

I am here for the second time and once again surprised by the peace and the view.
Large car park. We were surprised by the view in the morning. We spent a quiet night here. There was one other camper. Please take your rubbish with you and dispose of it properly. Thank you for allowing people to use the site.
Beautiful view of Switzerland, good Starlink reception, and the construction site previously criticised is no longer there. However, in the afternoon local teenagers arrived on motocross bikes and made noise. I can imagine it may also get somewhat louder in the evenings.
Nice parking lot with a great view, a bit sloping. Unfortunately, on a Thursday night, young people came with loud boom boom music at 10:30 at night. We had no choice but to drive on to a small parking lot near a chapel, where we slept peacefully. This place is also advertised on park-4 night and is about 10 minutes' drive north.
A quiet place with a fantastic view!
The view is beautiful, but the parking area is being used to store construction rubble. There was already noise in the morning because more rubble was being unloaded. Later in the morning, more construction vehicles, including an excavator, arrived. The workers were friendly. There are still a few parking spaces that have not been filled in, but I can only recommend this place if you are leaving again early.
Wonderful place. No prohibition on motorhomes, a typical walkers' car park. Super beautiful view, even if you walk a little way up the trail. Great with a dog, and bring a camera. Excellent sunset and quiet. During the day there are walkers and dog walkers. Only for self-sufficient vehicles; follow the rules! Leave it clean and do not put out chairs or anything similar. That is how such places remain available.
A superb overnight stop and super quiet after having a meal in the nearby village A few cars here at dusk but spent a weekday night alone. Good spot for the start of many walks. No services
