27 Carretèra de França, 25530, Viella
Been here?
This roadside parking area is about 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Viella. Overnight stays have recently been reported without problems, although road traffic can be clearly audible. Traffic usually decreases late at night, allowing reasonable sleep. Avoid parking directly in front of the Cash and Carry.

We spent one night here without any problems. As the other reviews say, it is somewhat noisy, although there is little traffic late at night and you can sleep well. Relatively close to the town center.
We slept here because the area was full. No problems, there are no prohibition signs and the center is very close. One drawback is the road noise, which is quite noticeable.
We came to spend the night and see a little of the area. No problem sleeping here; there were other campers and motorhomes. At night we didn't hear the road or any of the noise mentioned in the reviews. Five minutes from the center.
We spent two nights without problems. The road noise is constant but bearable. It is true that there is a business called Comerco, a wholesale store, and many customers come to shop, so it is better not to park in front and leave spaces for them. It is very close to the center. The fire station is right behind it.
Do not park in front of the Cash and Carry. The managers and employees do not want motorhomes there. They move vans around and box you in on the sides so you cannot enter or leave. Apparently, motorhomes are not welcome in Vielha. They say we do not spend or consume anything. Of course, I do not recommend this place. They call the Mossos. We only parked to eat and then continue.
We spent two nights. It is quiet but there is traffic noise. It is the road to France; it did not bother us and we slept well. Five minutes' walk from the center. Motorhomes are no longer allowed to park in the center parking lot; they issue fines.
We spent one night because the AC area was full and motorhomes are not allowed in the village parking lots. It is very close to the main road but also close to the village, and we slept quite peacefully.
Parking on the side of the road, without services. Quiet area with normal, not excessive traffic noise for a fairly lightly used road. Five minutes from the center.
One of the few places where they let you sleep, but it is impossible to sleep because of the noise. Traffic almost all night, and trucks pass by so close it feels like they are driving over the roof. We will not return and, depending on how things develop, we will boycott the area. There are many places where we are welcome. We ate very well at L'Aperitiu, and they were very kind.
One of the few places in the area where you can sleep without getting fined, with rubbish containers and right next to the road (noise). Besides being an industrial estate. As always, motorhome travelers are looked down on, even though we travel and spend the most.
There are no services of any kind. Perfect—we had a good night, five minutes' walk from the center. Whenever we return from a trip, it is a mandatory stop for breakfast in Vielha.
We slept one night to take a break, just before the parking lot on the service road. No problem during the night, noisy because it is beside the road, but it does the job. Not many parking options in the area.
Free parking near to the city center. A bit noisy due to the road behind.
There was nowhere else to park and this parking lot was good. Hardly any noise. We slept well.
Parking near supermarkets and the town center, apparently safe. There are not many options in the town, typical of places where tourism is guaranteed. When asking the tourist office and local police about the illegal overnight-parking prohibition signs, they were evasive and the authorities either do not know or do not want to know the current legislation.
