Manastir Kom, Žabljak Crnojevića
Been here?
This is a riverside parking spot beside a floating restaurant, where overnight stays are permitted by the owner. The grassy area is peaceful, with friendly locals, dogs, ducks and a goose nearby. The restaurant serves fish and other meals, and a cheap grocery car arrives in the mornings. The ruins offer sunset views, while the river is suitable for SUPs and kayaks.

Spent a night on the grassy area next to the floating restaurant. We got permission from the owner. We ate at the restaurant: fish soup, salad, chips, and sausages. The food was delicious too! A great spot.Translating
Great park up. We were unsure where to park but the a local told us to park in the lovely green field by the river. All the locals are lovely and invited us round for coffee and wine. Lots of friendly dogs say hello and one slept under the van during a thunderstorm
A fantastic stop! We stayed 2 nights, had a enjoyed taking out our SUP/kayak, and enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. The ruins at the top are great for sunset, and the fish at the restaurant is more than enough for 2 people. Super friendly people around, we felt very welcome.
Such a peaceful and beautiful place to park. The people who live here were very welcoming and kind to us. Restaurant on the water (we didn’t eat). A car with groceries (bread/fruits) comes in the mornings which is very cheap. Friendly dogs but not annoying, some ducks and a goose hang around but they’re entertaining. Every had a cow come to say hello.
we stopped to visit the castle and for a drink at the little bar on the river. it was Carlos' birthday (the owner), invited us for drinks and food and they were amazing people! we highly recommend it. the river, beautiful, some swimming snakes. got greeted by the two young playful dogs!
Excellent stop. So excellent, ai stayed three days. I was ill and the lady in the Riverside cafe looked after me. Loved it.
Easy to reach and plenty of space. The photos were apparently not taken at the actual location. It is a large asphalt car park by the water, near houses and a restaurant. The residents are extremely friendly and like to stop for a chat. We ate at the restaurant; it was very tasty and inexpensive: carp, chips, vegetables for two, and three pints for €37.50. The restaurant on the water only opens at the end of May, unfortunately.Translating
Great parking if you want to eat at one of the local fish restaurants. We went to Bisevina on Google Maps, which is accessible only by boat. You can call the restaurant, and they provide a free boat shuttle from the car park. The restaurant serves fresh carp; one is enough for two people. Very tasty, with a lovely boat trip. At sunset, be sure to walk up to the castle from the car park.Translating
We came here to escape the hustle and bustle of Virpazar. The friendly woman at the bar spontaneously prepared a small dinner for us. In the evening, locals gather here, so it was somewhat noisy for a while. There was a lot of rubbish next to the bins. The place is not very inviting, but it is okay for one night.Translating
The parking area does not really look like the photos, but it is still quite pleasant. The river runs right alongside it, and the few village residents are very kind. During the day there is not much parking space, but at night it is very quiet.Translating
A large car park at the end of the road. Littered, as everywhere, despite four rubbish containers. There is also a huge rusty oil tank lying around. A few tourists during the day; the castle is worth visiting. Somewhat noisier in the evening because of cows and frogs. The small dogs, by contrast, are very friendly. Only a few houses in the village are occupied. Car traffic from fishermen starts at 4 a.m. Fine for one night.Translating
A very quiet and peaceful place. We stayed here for one night, and nobody took any notice of us. There is a nearby castle with panoramic views of the lake and surroundings. You can also take a boat or swim from your own boat.Translating
Perfect. The restaurant owner was drunk for the boat trip, and it was an absolutely fantastic outing. He does not speak English, but offered a great price, and there is fish at the restaurant. Thank you very much!Translating
