The nearby main road can create some noise, although the parking area is generally quiet later in the evening.

We stayed for one night and had e a fantastic meal. A very nice pub and friendly hosts. We will come back on Sunday to enjoy the Sunday roast. Thanks for the nice evening.
After reading the good reviews, we were a little surprised when turned up. After asking if was ok to stop we were told we must buy a meal. As we'd already eaten we asked if it was ok to just buy a few drinks instead to the same value? no you must have a meal. Ok, how about we just pay? no you must buy a meal. I offered to have a meal even though i wasn't hungry. No both of you must eat. We left !
Awesome little pub…. fabulous food…. Friendly staff
quiet and large gravel space for parking, we came on a Monday when the pub was closed, but the owner was very friendly and was fine with us staying the night, which was great. main road nearby but as the evening went on it was pretty quiet. definitely recommend!
a lovely pub to stop at. we didn't make it for any food so we popped into the pub for a few drinks, the staff are friendly and helpful. apart from the road noise we had a lovely stay.
Great location for one night. Delicious food and drinks. Definitely space for 3 campers. We were there on Friday evening and found the road noisy, with someone occasionally driving onto the gravel parking area at night and leaving again. 5 stars for the pub, minus 1 star for the noise.
Super friendly, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. You sleep very well and the ground is gravel and level. Highly recommended.
