Nice pitch, very close to the lake. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. You are absolutely in the middle of nowhere and cannot reach shops or restaurants on foot. The nearest supermarket is about 27 minutes by bike. Eating out was only possible at the hotel, with correspondingly high prices. Conclusion: beautifully located, but you get more service at a campsite.Translating
Great place, but unfortunately the bureaucracy is very complicated! We arrived around 11 a.m., but unfortunately they could not assign us a pitch. Checkout was still in progress and check-in was not until 2 p.m.! They kindly wanted to let us onto the yawningly empty site at 1 p.m. It seems the rules are king here, not the customer! We drove on.Translating
Pitch €38, service €5 per person, dog €2.50, accommodation tax €1.60—so €46.10 per night. I think that is quite a lot for one night for two people with a dog. Registration is old-fashioned, and you can hardly park anywhere before entering the site. Sanitary facilities good and clean. It is quiet, and the lake and surrounding area are very beautiful.Translating
Electricity and water at the pitch. Pollock. Friendly operators. Sanitary facilities are clean. Bread-roll service available. Absolutely quiet. Sandy beach a few metres away. Clean water. Great cycling tours through the Leipzig New Lake District are possible. Archery course, harbour, bistro, mini-golf course. Bus connection to Leipzig and Borna. Boat trips to the floating Vineta monument are possible.Translating
The location of this pitch is fantastic, which is why it is unfortunately always full in summer.Translating
The value for money is not right here. €33.50 for one night on a guest pitch. No lake view, as with many other pitches. The grey-water solution is difficult for vans without a hose to use, and check-in is old-fashioned. You have to check in at reception and return there at checkout to get back the deposit for the card used to access the showers.Translating
There is no privacy from hedges between the neighbouring pitches, but that was the only drawback. We were there in July; everything was booked, but we got one of the last pitches. Nice sandy beach very close by, sanitary facilities okay. Bread rolls can be ordered at the associated hotel and were okay. Overall, a place for passing through for one or two days.Translating
Great place for a short holiday. Very clean water, friendly reception, clean site. No seasonal campers. 45 pitches in total. The beach is just beyond a fence with an opening. Toilets available at the beach. Be sure to bring bicycles. It is really worthwhile!Translating
A beautiful place, with a nice beach for lake swimming, great cycling facilities around the lake and the restaurant at the hotel is very good with super friendly staff. Facilities are a little small but really modern and very clean. We have already booked again.
Beautiful pitch with electricity and fresh and grey water on site. Bread rolls can be ordered from the local hotel. Sanitary facilities clean, lake very beautiful. The site is very remote, so it is best to buy essential supplies beforehand. €30 per night including electricity.Translating
Very beautiful, spacious motorhome site, more like a campsite. Clean, heated washroom. Directly by the lake with a sandy beach. Perfect!!!Translating
Lovely site right next to the lake, we sent an email late in the day when heading back through Germany from Poland and they answered quickly saying they had space for our requested one night stay. The location is what makes this place would recommend 100%
No. You cannot compare this location with Lake Garda—but you do not have to. Hopefully the lake will develop its own character in a few years. The site is nice and the service perfectly adequate. In spring it is wonderfully quiet because there are few people.Translating
Very nicely located and good service. I deducted one star because of the outdated registration at the hotel next door and because the barrier card no longer worked after leaving the site with the motorhome.Translating
Tried it today... well, the distant view is of the landfill. And the registration process is from the Stone Age. You register at the hotel, meaning you first pass through a toll barrier and then go to the site again. A machine would be easier and more efficient for everyone!!! This is how you drive guests away.Translating
Wohnmobilhafen Lagovida: Idyllically located by the lake, with terraced pitches and lake views. Sanitary facilities very clean, although limited. Electricity included, friendly welcome. Bread-roll service through the hotel. Perfect for cyclists and walkers thanks to the nearby cycle path. The public beach is a highlight: beautiful and not overcrowded. Ideal for a relaxing holiday with outdoor activities.Translating
Very spacious pitches. Directly by the beach and harbour. Bus stop right outside. Electricity and water on the pitch. Toilets and showers clean. Excellent bread-roll service. Bistro within walking distance. Beautiful cycle paths around the lake. No shops nearby.Translating
We arrived here spontaneously and very late on Sunday. Very quick and friendly processing at the hotel reception. We could choose any pitch in the row we wanted. Electricity and water are available on site. We were allowed to park across two pitches. Very quiet place directly by the lake. Sanitary facilities good and clean. Highly recommended.Translating
Great facility, very quick and uncomplicated. We would be happy to come again. Prior telephone registration worked perfectly.Translating
One night in July, Sunday; spontaneously requested by phone at 11 a.m. and lucky. €32 for the night, including a €5 service fee. Everything you need is available: electricity and waste/fresh water directly at the pitch, very clean and new sanitary facilities with free rain showers, a washing-up area, and washing machine. Direct view of the lake and beach 100 m away. Very quiet at night. Great cycle path around the lake.Translating
For an alleged motorhome harbour, it is almost at campsite level. Nevertheless, we find the price of €38 for one motorhome and two adults very high.Translating
Without a reservation, there was no pitch even though several were still free. The pitches are laid out at an angle, for whatever reason. Levelling chocks are essential. At the campsite, some campers occupied two pitches.Translating
Nice motorhome site on Lake Störmthal. €35 per night in the last row, including water, electricity, and showers for three people with a motorhome. Pitches slightly sloping but very spacious. Sanitary building clean. Restaurant nearby. Very beautiful area for hiking and swimming.
Everything looked very chic. Unfortunately, all pitches were reserved and we had to drive on. The advice at reception was extremely friendly. We would visit this site again on a future trip, but reserve beforehand!
We stayed one night at the campsite. We were warmly welcomed at hotel check-in. We received a chip card for the entrance barrier and sanitary building. Bread rolls could also be ordered. The showers and toilets were very modern and clean, with individual shower cabins. Electricity and water are accessible at every pitch.
Unfortunately, weekends require at least two nights. It is too expensive for that. They were unwilling to rent us just one night even though plenty of pitches were free.
We were passing through and called to ask. We were allowed to stop by for €5, with a €20 deposit, to dispose of waste and refill water. It is beautiful here.
Very nice staff. Water, electricity, and clean sanitary facilities, including showers and toilets, are available. Great view of the lake and pleasantly empty in the off-season. Bread-roll service is offered, though we did not use it. Registration at the hotel reception. We could even borrow a power cable for a deposit. We will gladly return.
I have to agree with the others. Nice, clean site, beach very close. Unfortunately, the staff are not particularly friendly, and many guests cannot control their dogs; the barking is unbearable.
I agree with the reviews given previously. Nothing more to add.
Beautiful, clean pitch. Directly by the lake with many activities, including swimming, cycling, and renting boats or canoes. All employees very friendly.
