2 Rue de Ferrare, 77300, Fontainebleau
Been here?
City parking for visiting Fontainebleau Castle and the town, with electricity and space to maneuver. The castle is 200m away and the town center 700m away. It is not well suited to motorhomes, which may need 3 places in length. Two nights cost 21,20 euros, with some city-center noise.

Parking area with electricity, ideal for visiting the castle 200 m away and the town centre 700 m away, but not at all suitable for motorhomes. We had to take three spaces lengthwise. We spent two nights for €21.20. Some noise, as in all town-centre parking areas.
I highly recommend this carpark. After cruising half an hour in circles through one way streets in the town center, this saved my day. Close to the castle and restaurants, electricity plugs, room to maneuver, and 2 euros per hour is not too bad. It’s signposted as “P Chateau”.
Excellent for daytime. From 7 p.m. until morning, you collect a ticket to enter but do not pay. Large and truly central, but not suitable for overnight stays; at 2 a.m. all the city lights go out and it becomes completely dark.
Certainly not far from the castle for sightseeing, but really very expensive. If only our money were used by the town to repair its roads, that would be a good idea.
The parking area is large, but beware: if there are many visitors, it may be difficult to find a space (2 bays; I didn't see any suitable overhanging spaces). The access road is rather narrow. Convenient for visiting the castle and gardens. We did not stay overnight.
