21 Chemin de Beaujet, 33440, Ambarès-et-Lagrave
Been here?
Small lake with picnic tables and paved path around it. Despite original prohibition on overnight stays, recent visitors report calm nights. Good for fishermen, joggers, cyclists, and dogs. However, daytime use is busy, human waste has been noted, and nearby expressway brings noise. No facilities.

Nice spot for spending a quiet night beside a fishing pond. No services. Picnic table.
Beautiful, peaceful place, frequented by fishermen and joggers. We saw a catfish take a surface duck—impressive! We spent a quiet night.
Super spot, very quiet apart from the ducks, lovely surroundings around the pond. We spent the night without any problems. In the morning we met three joggers, a dog walker, and three fishermen. There are also picnic tables! Perfect spot for us.
You could get some stealth camping in here but to be honest it’s quite populated and there is an extraordinary amount of human faeces everywhere
Noisy road nearby, busy all night, dodgy, seems like that’s where the mob dumps bodies!! And not easy access!
Beautiful place beside a lake. Quiet.
Unique experience sleeping beside the lake. Wake up to birdsong and immerse yourself in nature. A paradise!
The air is excellent, water and electricity available, and the pitches are very well laid out. The only drawback is that the central driveway should be redone because potholes form.
Nice place to spend during the day with a lake surrounding you. There is a paved trail around the lake. That's good for biking with occasional picnic tables. Cellular 4G is 3 out of 4 bars.
I wanted to spend the night here, but there were dead fish in the water, a burned-out and stripped car along the way, and illegal dumping sites beside the road. As soon as I arrived, two vehicles drove around my camper van and left. I preferred not to sleep there.
