This secluded parking area beside the D1006 has toilets, a water point, and a pleasant panorama of the forts of Esseillon. It is quiet after 18:00, although the nearby climbing park brings many people and cars during the day and vehicles arrive early in the morning. The site is suitable for overnight stays, with walks to the Devil’s Bridge, forts, via ferrata, and tree-climbing activities nearby. There are no shops.

Great via ferratas, including ones for children (A and B), around the castle. During the day there are lots of people and cars because of the climbing park (entry for a child €30, various difficulty levels); after 6 p.m. it is quiet. We did not sleep there, but about three campers did.Translating

Such an interesting place to visit and spend the night. Lovely walk over the Pont Diablo, above the gorge, then a hike up to the fort. The road nearby became quiet during the evening but the sound of the water running nearby may bother some people. We assume the tap was around the toilet area but didn't need it...or see it. Good stop, both for visiting the forts and for the treetop routes with harnesses; there are also via ferratas nearby. Excellent for the night. Although it is a short distance from the road, you can sleep peacefully without much noise.Translating
We spent a quiet night and the next day spontaneously visited the high ropes course with the children (recommended). A short walk over the Devil's Bridge across the gorge is also recommended. From around 9 a.m. the parking area becomes very busy with day visitors. Toilets with drinking water and picnic areas are available.Translating
