A convenient parking place for visiting Kalmar and staying overnight, with views towards the water and bridge to Öland. Parking costs 30 SEK for 24h, payable at the machine or through an app. There are no facilities on site, but a clean public toilet is within walking distance at the old bastion and swimming area. The centre, restaurants and a COOP are nearby, with the COOP approximately 500m away.

The spaces were a little short for us, so we drove a few meters farther on near the marina. There we could park with EasyPark (code KK4) for €3/24 hours. The night was quiet and relaxing.
For those who are self-sufficient with their motorhome, this parking area at 30 SEK for 24 hours is perfect. It is opposite the Kronan Museum, facing the entrance and exit of the marina, about 500 m from the COOP, shopping gallery and ATM by the sea, and close to the town center. The night was very quiet.
Great spot, easy to find and surprisingly quiet. There is a coop for groceries a couple of hundred mètres away. We arrived at 4pm and for 30SEK we could stay until 9am the next day. There are no. facilités here but great for an over night stop.

A fine spot for SEK 30 to stay for 24 hours, if you can manage with the facilities in your motorhome. Close to Kalmar city and restaurants.
Place with a beautiful view and very quiet in the evening. Ideal both for visiting the city and for staying overnight.
