283 Seestrasse, 3658, Sigriswil
Been here?
Public parking above the village fire station in Sigriswil, near the lake with nice views. Space is tight — best suited to vans rather than large motorhomes. One spot fits a 6.5m camper, several smaller ones for vans. Free of charge, no on-site services besides fresh water, but shops, bakery, restaurants, public toilets, wifi and a spa are all within a short walk. Some travellers report new no-camping signs and occasional noise from annoyed residents at night.

Camping prohibited. New sign.
Parking area rather narrow, more suitable for vans. Unfortunately, the residents are angry. A woman who apparently had to go to work at 3 a.m. complained: “This is so outrageous; it will soon come to an end. What a disgrace.” She slammed two or three doors, turned on loud music and stood there for another minute. Otherwise, it was a quiet night until the area became active at 7:30 a.m.
Beautiful place with a beautiful view! Free and practical for spending one night. Public toilets opposite Hotel Beatus, a few metres from the parking area. They also kindly gave us the Wi-Fi password.
easy park up. especially when it seems everything around has camping prohibited signs. has lots of overlooking houses and next to a road. shop, toilets and water all in close proximity.
