Been here?
A small concrete parking area beside an open chapel in the olive groves, with shade from a large pine tree and a water tap of uncertain drinking quality. Recent reports describe rough, narrow access with olive branches, unsuitable for bigger motorhomes; the concrete area suits smaller vans. The place is generally quiet, with distant traffic and occasional jackal or wild-boar noises, but it may be best avoided on Sundays and holidays.

This is not a very convenient park space. Access track is rough and unsuitable for bigger motorhomes- definitely not ideal in wet weather. We have a L2H2 and the track was tight with many olive tree branches in the way. The concrete part next to the church would only suit smaller vans. Water tap working. However peaceful night surrounded by olive trees.
(September 2025) We only stopped here for a meal break, but it was very quiet and convenient.
We got stuck in the mud while turning around to go elsewhere, so given the time we had to stay. But we did not feel very comfortable. It is really right next to the church. I do not think it is ideal or very respectful. So we left as quickly as possible in the morning.
It’s a small parking behind a chapel that looks like it’s still being used so would definitely avoid on Sundays and holidays. We arrived late and left the next day as we didn’t feel too comfortable staying right in front of the church doors.
We spent a quiet, undisturbed night here. You can hear a little traffic in the distance; there were probably wild boars at night, judging by the tracks we found in the morning. Jackals howling in the distance can also be heard here. A local person passed by in the morning and greeted us warmly. Access is via a well-maintained dirt road, with no problems from ruts or bumps.
Quiet night near a church, perhaps abandoned? There is also a stone table to use in the shade, cicadas, and no mosquitoes.
Impossible to access the parking area with an L2H2 because of the branches.
Beautiful place for an overnight stay, but it was not completely quiet for us. At night there was noise from a loud motorcycle riding around; at 7 a.m. farmers arrived with chainsaws—that is just part of it! Easy access for VW buses or vans.
