GR-3201, 18517, La Peza
Been here?
A quiet, level recreational parking area beside a dam, with impressive views of the valley, hills and distant mountains. There are only bins and a helicopter landing area, with no water facilities. The surface is gravel and suitable for motorhomes, including a 9m vehicle. A bar and café across the road were not yet open.

Very nice, quiet spot :-)Translating
Just spent 2 peaceful nights here in our 9m mh. Nothing here except a bin and a helipad in the centre. Nice views and bar/cafe across the road not yet open. Well kept and local Guardia Civil came past a few times. As said in previous review, free services at La Peza and Marchal, both well worth a visit.
The road here is good and the view is absolutely magnificent, with the dam on one side and the valley on the other. Snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance. We stayed for one night and enjoyed plenty of peace and quiet. There is gravel, so parking is secure. Lovely place with several rubbish bins.Translating
There are no water facilities, just a few small bins (that hadn't been emptied for some time when I visited), but this lack increases the likelihood of getting a parking space. The views are the real draw here and you can align your door to gaze out at the valley and hills. The parkup is peaceful and quiet at night, or was when I visited (no hoodlums bothered me, unlike some other reviewers).
Very good, peaceful night with beautiful views.Translating
Excellent parking area with a beautiful panoramic view; there are rubbish bins.Translating
What a beautiful place with an amazing view.Translating
Very, very beautiful place for a meal break or a walk. Quite busy during the day, clean, with bins on site and good network coverage, but strangely we did not feel like spending the night there.Translating
We were here from Monday to Tuesday in mid-October. One other motorhome was there. It was quiet and ideal for one night while passing through.Translating
Very bad experience. Young people arrive at nightfall and some skid around the van. We left.Translating
Very beautiful, level and peaceful place with impressive views. We parked normally as indicated by the spaces, but the other vans and campers that arrived parked parallel to the pavement. When the dam worker arrived in the morning, he could not park his own vehicle. It is important to respect the layout so we are allowed to continue parking here.Translating
Good place to sleep; we were passing through and it is close to the motorway. Very quiet and level.Translating
Very easy to drive to from the main road. Other vans around, even a couple sitting on their camping chairs outside. Not many other people around. Very quiet at night and really lovely views… it was a very friendly atmosphere when we were there
In March, there were only two trucks. Very beautiful view, but quite a lot of passing cars. Very clean.Translating
Well, not really quiet. Several cars arrived at night on Friday and simply stood there playing loud techno music. It seems to be a meeting place for young people. Unfortunately, we did not have a peaceful night and would not come here again.Translating
Excellent for possibly spending one night; magnificent place.Translating
beautiful views, easy to access, flat and mostly clean, there are bins for the trash. spend a quiet night here.
Stunning views and a quiet spot for the night.Translating
Beautiful location. Several motorhomes stayed overnight.Translating
Great place and easy to drive to. Unfortunately, the central area is used as a toilet. There is faeces and paper lying around, which is a shame for such a great place.Translating
A great place. Extremely beautiful and you feel safe. There were a few other campers and vans.Translating
Great spot! We did not spend the night here, but used the parking area to visit the dam. Rubbish bins are available. There is also some shade. Otherwise, just breathtaking surroundings.Translating
Excellent place to rest. I slept peacefully alongside four other campers. On waking, it was a very beautiful spot. Thanks to the community for thinking of us campers.Translating
Beautiful viewpoint. We stayed here for one night, but there is not much else. Many people come by during the day to take a look, so it can be busy. At night we were the only camper.Translating
Very beautiful, quiet place with no noise at night. Very clean. No services, but suitable for one night. A short walk can be taken around the dam. Public lighting at night.
No services, but it is worth staying here. Wonderful views, very quiet and flat for parking.
Magnificent spot. You can walk in splendid surroundings. Very quiet despite the nearby road, and completely flat. No leveling blocks needed.
Level, circular parking area in the dam control zone. There is no neglect or much dirt, vehicle noise is limited and the views are wide. Other visitors drive around, and the sound of their tyres can be annoying. There is a rubbish container and bins. No other services.
Such a beautiful area, but completely spoiled by rubbish and people obviously using it as a toilet. Such a shame.
Very good place.
Perfect place for one night, level and fairly quiet. No cars at night, and almost everyone is very quiet in the evening, apart from one or two motorbikes without exhausts. The reservoir shows the frightening water shortage in Spain; please treat water as a precious resource during your journey.
We spent one night here and were able to enjoy the magnificent scenery in complete peace. A few cars came to the parking area at night playing music, but otherwise it was a very peaceful place. We would definitely come again.
