Close to the upper town and the lights of Aiguilhe, the campsite is pleasant and shaded. Some pitches are small. The sanitary facilities are clean and regularly maintained. The shower temperature is difficult to adjust, ranging from boiling hot to freezing cold. The pizzas at the entrance are excellent. Recommended.Translating
Well-located campsite, with a park at the exit where the Borne River flows. Shaded or partly shaded depending on the pitch. A lovely meadow for pilgrims, hikers, and cyclists with small tents. Quiet in the evening, and the campers are friendly. It is a city campsite, so it is fairly large. The pitches are bare earth, with grass outside. Free 4G is good.Translating
Nights of July 19–20 and 20–21. Excellent, very shady and quiet campsite. Not far from the town center on foot. Clean, well-designed sanitary facilities. The only drawback is that television reception is impossible. During the Tour de France and the football World Cup, this is difficult. A television room is available, but it is different and not private.Translating
Excellent campsite, ideally located at the foot of Saint-Michel Rock. Shops nearby. The upper town is a 15-minute walk away. Very friendly welcome. We spent seven days here visiting and relaxing; the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.Translating
Excellent campsite very close to the centre of Le Puy. Very shady with lots of trees. Would use again.Translating
Good location; the facilities are fine except for the Wi-Fi. We stayed only one day, but the town deserved more time! We definitely recommend staying for two or three nights.Translating
Great campsite, shaded, central and quiet, with a wonderful welcome and all services. Five stars*****Translating
We booked one night to enjoy the nearby town and attend the music festival on foot. Everything was very good: facilities, cleanliness, shade, and a very warm welcome despite the rush of arrivals at 2 p.m.Translating
Ideal campsite for visiting Le Puy, a few minutes' walk from Notre-Dame. Friendly welcome, pleasant and shady pitches. The only drawback is the shower-water temperature: sometimes freezing, sometimes boiling. What a shame.Translating
Magnificent, quiet, spotless sanitary facilities, warm welcome. Recommended.Translating
An ideal location—you could not ask for better—at the foot of the two rocks and beside a cycle path. The campsite is flat, shady, and quiet. We enjoyed our two nights; the welcome was friendly and attentive. Clean sanitary facilities. Good value for money. Be sure to book online, as it fills up quickly.Translating
Very shady campsite, good-sized pitch, clean sanitary facilities, a 15-minute walk from the town center, and a friendly receptionist. €57.60 for three nights for one motorhome, two adults, and electricity. Recommended.Translating
Lovely site, which is why it is so busy. Great water pressure in the showers, but this fluctuates when everyone is washing their dishes. Perfect spot from which to explore Le Puy on foot or bike.Translating
Ideally located campsite, good-sized pitches, managed by an excellent team. The ACSI card is not accepted, but the €19 rate with electricity is very reasonable.Translating
Be aware that the campsite does not accept the ACSI card in the off-season, even though it is on the list. Otherwise, it is close to things to visit and fills up quickly. The grassy pitches become muddy quickly when it rains. €19 per pitch.Translating
Well-located campsite for visiting the old town: flat, shady, with large pitches and services. A Super U supermarket is very close, as is a large park.Translating
Shaded campsite with spacious pitches. A path from the campsite follows the river. You can fish and reach a supermarket. Behind the campsite there is a municipal park. The children's play areas are in the park, some distance from the campsite.Translating
Ideal for visiting Le Puy. The price for a couple with a motorhome is €13 without electricity, or €19 with electricity. The owner was very welcoming. There is some noise, but the stream makes us forget it and masks the city and tennis-court noise. In short, I recommend it, and if I return to Le Puy, I will stay here.Translating
We spent two nights here with two motorhomes. Very well located, all amenities, well maintained, sufficiently large pitches, clean sanitary facilities, and hot showers. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. At €19.20 per couple per night, including electricity and services, there is really nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.Translating
Good address. Shaded campsite, good-sized pitches, clean sanitary facilities, friendly welcome, and modest prices. You can hear some traffic, but that is normal since it is in the heart of the town. Supermarket five minutes away on foot. An added bonus is the lounge with sofas and free Wi-Fi.Translating
Very well located for visiting Le Puy-en-Velay, with a friendly campsite welcome, very clean sanitary facilities and toilets with hot water, and a quiet campsite with no surrounding disturbance.Translating
Run away! There has been no hot water since last year! The manager does not care at all; he says he will call the plumber. Pathetic!Translating
Functional campsite near the center of Le Puy-en-Velay. The sanitary facilities are clean, and the spaces are open and shaded. There are two children's playgrounds nearby. Ideal for a stopover or for spending a few days in the area. Athletes can jog along the river, which is very pleasant. Be careful: the campsite is in a flood-prone area.Translating
It would be nice if the campsite were also open. After a long search, we ended up directly beside the road, which was very annoying. Since our motorhome is long and tall, maneuvering was unpleasant given the traffic.Translating
A great place, very central, well maintained, clean, and equipped with everything you need. Really excellent!Translating
Very shady and quiet campsite, unfortunately inaccessible because of bad weather.Translating
Very useful if you want to see all the wonderful sites of this town. I think the pitches are not very generous and you do feel a bit squeezed in compared to other campsites. The smaller vehicles get more space to themselves. The WiFi is at the reception only so not good for most people. Your pitch is allocated so no choice. It’s ok for a couple of days. Access to water throughout the campsite. Translating
Very friendly and dedicated welcome. Shaded grounds, which is an advantage in hot weather. Well-defined pitches with ample room for maneuvering. Perfect, central location for exploring the town and surroundings. The icing on the cake is the excellently developed greenway.Translating
Pitches very poorly defined. Somewhat cold welcome. Be patient for hot water. Spacious, shaded pitches. Close to central Le Puy-en-Velay and Saint-Michel Rock. Everything needed for hikers. Two sanitary blocks, one of which should be renovated. Close to a hospital, so there is ambulance and helicopter noise.Translating
This campsite enjoys a privileged location at the foot of the town of Le Puy-en-Velay. The welcome is notably friendly. It is primarily a stopover, particularly appreciated by pilgrims heading toward Santiago de Compostela. The impeccably clean sanitary facilities make it ideal for one or two nights.Translating
Very well-located campsite. Efficient welcome; everyone has their own task and does it well. The sanitary facilities would be fine if people had a little more consideration. Just because it is a small campsite does not mean people should behave carelessly. Everything is in place for a pleasant stay. The only drawback is the lack of separation between pitches, so I deducted one star.Translating
Its major advantage is its location at the foot of the rock and its proximity to the town. The pitch boundaries are not clearly marked. The sanitary facilities would be acceptable if people were respectful. When some people brush their teeth in the dishwashing sinks even though washbasins are available right next to them, you feel like slapping them. A lack of hygiene and common sense.Translating
this place is wonderful, it has such a nice vibe, has a real adventurous vibe with back Packers and little vans as well as caravans and motorhomes. good facilities. showers like everyone else says are not great, but useable to serve it's purpose. set next to a lovely park with tennis, basketball, table tennis etc. also just a short walk into the most beautiful old town, if you are passing be sureTranslating
Good campsite with large pitches, located in the city and within walking distance of everything. Cheap and friendly service. Everything was good.Translating
Since our last visit, the sanitary facilities have been renovated. It is clean and pleasant, with shade everywhere. A campsite well worth visiting!Translating
