A motorway rest area before the border, with a large car park after the Burger King where a single overnight stay is possible. Parking is limited to 9hour, and the shop and toilets charge the standard European 1euro fee. It is generally reasonably quiet and felt safe, although heavy vehicles can create some noise.

Reasonably quiet with good facilities. Felt safe for a single night stay. Decent shop with toilets for the standard European 1euro charge.
Good place to park. Quiet, and they charge Luxembourg prices here.
We spent one night on the other side. Although the rest area is very busy, we had a quiet night.

The first or last opportunity to refuel cheaply, and a good place for a snack. Quite lively because it is a very large petrol station.
Adequate parking for spending the night. Some noise from the trucks next door, but acceptable. Public toilets at the service station, clean but paid.
